Replacing/changing/copying effects

I just tested Role Play, Entrainment, Trace, Receiver, and Lingering Aroma and none of them can interact with Protosynthesis (the former two I only tested by targeting a Paradox Pokemon but I don't think any Paradoxes get those two moves to use them on other targets anyway). I only have a Scarlet file right now so if someone could test the same with Quark Drive that'd be great. They almost certainly work the same, but it doesn't hurt to make sure. Transform

Im not sure if this should go into the Transform page or here since I dont see it mentioned in either; A Pokemon who has Transformed into another with Protosynthesis or Quark Drive will be unable to activate the ability even if the conditions required to activate it are met. Not even while holding a Booster Energy will the ability activate. Kitsu.aria (talk) 10:58, 7 March 2024 (UTC)

Power of Alchemy, Simple Beam and Worry Seed

Power of Alchemy cannot copy Protosynthesis or Quark Drive.

Surprisingly enough, Simple Beam does work and successfully overwrites those with Simple. This is strange, because on the Simple Beam page it was written that it fails against Protosynthesis. I checked to be sure and Worry Seed also works fine. Were those mistakes or were things change via game update(s)?
