Mew's OT and IVs in UK and Spanish distributions

There's quite a lot of information about mew machines here: https://www.math.miami.edu/~jam/azure/forum/tuff/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=000243 A person with access to the mew machines claims: "The Trainer name for the UK tour was ALWAYS UK, on every machine" Also, I've found that the OT name for Spanish tournament Mew held in year 2000 in Madrid might have been "D-J", but the stats of that mew don't match the supposedly official IVs for all official mews (5/10/1/12/5) since the speed and special values are impossible with those IVs. New Zealand Mew

On Azure Heights, Mu claimed that "The local arcade had a Mew machine located near the entrance for three months" some time in 2000. With no further details and no real way to contact Mu (I tried quite hard, but the only way I could actually send a message was a PM on Azure Heights), I'm not confident enough to add it to the page. --SnorlaxMonster 14:58, 23 September 2017 (UTC)

Nintendo Official Magazine Tour Mew

Mew was not actually available at these dates. The "Mew machine" was not collected from Japan until the 16th April. What they offered instead was a chance to win a badge if you challanged and beat a rep from the Pokemon league, with this badge you could either redeem it at a the tour in July or send it into the magazine with your game and they will put Mew onto your cartridge (again, not offered until July). This is detailed in the Nintendo Official Magazine issues 91-95. The only other way to get Mew before the tour was to win one, they had 100 available as detailed in issue 94. Scans of these magazines can be found on archive.org.
