Surf not compatible
I'm playing Emerald, and my Exploud definitely can not learn Surf. Can Exploud still learn Surf in Generation IV? Maybe the article needs to be fixed. User:Jc2009

Interesting... I just tried it again and it's a no go. Is this a mistake on the designers of Emerald? Jc2009 03:16, 22 August 2009 (UTC) Also, the official Nintendo guides for Ruby/Sapphire and Emerald do not have Surf listed under Exploud's learnset Jc2009 19:31, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

Japanese name origin
I believe that it's more probable that the japanese name comes from 爆音 (bakuon: Sound caused from an explosion.) --Zurashu (talk) 23:50, 11 July 2016 (UTC)
