In that battle, Dundy uses his Croconaw against Ash's Pikachu. Pikachu launches a powerful Thunderbolt on the Croconaw which hits not alone the Pokémon but also hits Dundy. The battle is stopped when Brock's Crobat comes to take Ash to his friends because they don't want to miss the boat. Dundy hasn't been seen since.
Trivia
- Dundy may have received his dub name from Crocodile Dundee for the fact that he trains Croconaw, which is based on a crocodile. He was also given an apparent Australian accent, much like his proposed namesake.
- Dundy does not have a name or a voice in the Japanese version. In the credits he's only referred to as アリゲイツのトレーナー Croconaw Trainer.
