By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Red links

I'm sorry if I disturbed you with the recent edit that I did to your user page, but here's the thing: I don't know if you noticed it, but the fact is that there is a list of wanted pages. It is supposed to be used as a reference by users that are willing to create new pages or to delete inconvenient links, as it shows linked pages that don't exist. With this the edit is explained, but there's more: I discovered you because of another link, that represents an issue that is harder to solve, and you probably didn't even notice it: when you described your parties you used this template. The problem is that on the location field, you said "USA", and that the template always creates a link based on the item specified there. In other words, you accidentaly placed "USA" in the list of wanted pages. So now you have two options:

  • You may specify a pokémon-related location, that therefore is on this wiki or
  • You may use this modified version of the template. To do that, copypaste the code to a page from your userspace (for example, User:Trotz59/Template:Party) and then, on your user page, replace {{Party by {{User:Trotz59/Template:Party (remember to do that everywhere). If you do so, it will link to the wikipedia page.

You're welcome, and thank you so much for informing me. I'm still getting used to all this stuff! Trotz59 (talk) 00:55, 20 July 2013 (UTC)
