Link templates

Hey just so you know, we use an easier way to link pages called link templates, like {{m|Pound}} instead of [[Pound (move)|Pound]]. It's super easy and you can find the list here. --Charlie『talk | edits』 19:22, 22 June 2014 (UTC)

Userspace

Hello. You're not allowed to use your talk page as a userpage. The primary use of a talk page is for other users to contact you about Bulbapedia-related things. The user page is there for personal information instead, and the restriction to not being able to edit your user page right away was put there so new users would focus on editing first instead. If you really want to create your user page, just keep on editing the mainspace and you'll be able to edit it after a while, instead of using your talk page as a personal user page. A personal introductory blurb on a talk page is allowed, but personal info (such as what your favourite characters are) is just better suited at your user page. See more here.

Also, to answer your qeustion about removing your welcome message or any other talk page content, the Talk page policy states: Don't remove comments, including your initial welcome message. This is for historical purposes and so Bulbapedia staff don't give repeated warnings about the same thing. When your page gets long enough, you may archive it by moving it to a new location.

I have a problem.

I can't create pages because I haven't edited enough articles. The problem is, all the information I know about Pokémon has been put onto Bulbapedia already, so there's no way I can contribute. And before you say, you can still help, please check the list of inclompete articles or articles needing improvement, all the articles in those catergories I either have no knowledge on, or the information I do know has already been added, which means I'll never be able to create a userpage. Please remember that first and foremost, creating a userpage is not the most important thing to do. If I could make a suggestion, please try to look for edits to make with the intent of improving Bulbapedia foremost, instead of making your personal userpage. Claiming there's nothing you can edit is not true at all. There's enough to do. Please look through these pages: 1, 2, 3, 4. If you already have, look again. The countless amounts of edits made each day by Bulbapedia users prove Bulbapedia is far from complete. An additional tip is to regularly check the Recent Changes. You can check up on edits made by others there and improve these if needed, or to get new ideas of what you could edit.
