Block

I am going to summarize a few things here. I was not specifically available at the time of your blocking, but Jo the Marten told me that "a user was making highly questionable edits" and that they were the first edits that said user was making. When I usually hear things like this, it sounds like either a vandal, or someone who didn't read the rules. Now I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and hope you aren't a vandal, however, you still made some highly questionable edits (specifically adding two sections of "quotes" containing literal gibberish), so I am inclined to believe you indeed did not read the rules.

The good news is I am reducing your block from one month to a week. The bad news is you are still blocked. I want you to take some time to read the rules before you continue editing. Specifically, you should realize that before making such a drastic change to a page, you should bring it up on the talk page first. Also, make sure to use the preview button.
