Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are coming this November! Check and Bulbanews for up-to-date Pokémon news and discuss it on the or in our IRC channel.
|Welcome to Bulbapedia, BurgundyUnicorn!|
By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!
I am going to summarize a few things here. I was not specifically available at the time of your blocking, but Jo the Marten told me that "a user was making highly questionable edits" and that they were the first edits that said user was making. When I usually hear things like this, it sounds like either a vandal, or someone who didn't read the rules. Now I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and hope you aren't a vandal, however, you still made some highly questionable edits (specifically adding two sections of "quotes" containing literal gibberish), so I am inclined to believe you indeed did not read the rules.
The good news is I am reducing your block from one month to a week. The bad news is you are still blocked. I want you to take some time to read the rules before you continue editing. Specifically, you should realize that before making such a drastic change to a page, you should bring it up on the talk page first. Also, make sure to use the preview button. If you would like to contact me specifically, you can e-mail me at "MAGNEDETH@bulbagarden.net" or send me a personal message (PM) on the forums. -- MAGNEDETH 20:19, 4 February 2012 (UTC)
Code of conduct + Talk page comments
Hi, I regretfully must inform you that your recent contributions have not followed the Code of conduct stated in Bulbapedia. You seem to have taken a dislike to a fellow admin but above all, another user. We're meant to coexist peacefully in this site, so please try and treat others the way you wish to be treated. She's not trying to pick you on nor pick a fight with you, or anything of the sort. She's undoing edits that don't meet the Manual of Style, she is enforcing the rules, don't take it as personal. In addition, you're not allowed to remove any talk page comments on any talk page, not even yours. Even much less to edit certain comments to involve personal attacks to the aforementioned person. If you wish to remove these comments off your talk page, you may move it to an archive talk page instead and start from zero. Let this be the last time I catch you trying to fight with someone else. Yes, sir. It won't happen again.

Hi, as per the talk page policy states, nobody is allowed to remove talk pages comments unless they're spam or old comments, yours was neither. In this case, the section you replied on is now to be kept for historic purposes, and as such, the removing of anything after having signed is forbidden. Thank you. I know nothing about Pokemon.
I am being followed by these admins. I swear it.
The only pages you own are your userpages. The encyclopedia's other users like myself have every right to maintain all mainspace pages and edit them --SandmanDP 00:14, 18 February 2012 (UTC)
- @BurgundyUnicorn Please remember to sign your talk page posts with 4 tidles (~). Thank you! --Pokemaster97 00:28, 18 February 2012 (UTC)

Actually, it sucked, as it was.
I am literate. I am not retarded. Fine is not what we are looking for here at Bulbapedia. We want greatness.
- Sign your comments
- Nobody said you were retarded
- Bulbapedia is more than great. the coverage here is astounding

Your edits are just all over the place. I even gave you a chance back when you were accidentally blocked, and you clearly didn't use that time, or any time since, usefully. No one is picking on you, you just keep doing things wrong. I'm sorry if that sounds a little mean, but the truth hurts sometimes. But it shouldn't be a problem because you were told the read the rules in the first place, and you didn't. Alternatively, I could ask, did you know this is a Pokémon wiki? Watching one episode does not make you an expert, and even if you were an expert, no one "owns" a page on the wiki (not even the userspace, that's a privilege). The wiki is a community project everyone gets to work on. However, being a wiki, that means we deal in facts, and BP's aim is top quality (so no, "fine" is not ok). If you want to edit seriously, read the rules, check the policies, and LISTEN TO ADVICE. I'm not going to ease you off of this block, so use the time wisely. The staff have better things to do than chase your edits. -- MAGNEDETH 01:12, 18 February 2012 (UTC)
