Physical
your template has been put into use. -- MAGNEDETH 03:15, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
- Okey-dokey. ~ sol 03:17, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
Okay
Dude, use the preview button. Also, how did my edit mess up the template? Every single one made after you reverted mine has screwed it up more and more. Look at it in I.E.--RexRacer -talk 21:39, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
- Well I'm sorry that all browsers look at templates differently. I'm trying to make it for all browsers and when you edited it, the template failed on Firefox. And I have been using the preview button. I just realize that it might look better in another way after I've already pressed the Save page button. ~ sol 21:46, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
- No worries, I was just wondering. Looks fine now.--RexRacer -talk 21:50, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

- Could you make new sections when you're starting up a new subject? It makes the talk page more organized. But I guess I can always just make a new section for you if you don't want to. ~ sol 02:42, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
- I was just trying to save space, make one less click down. In the future I'll just make a new sectionDCM((Mock MeEdits)) 02:54, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
Congratulations!

- Hey, Congratulations! :] --×Kevzo8 14:43, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
- Wait, seriously? I joined three days before January ended... But thanks! :D ~ sol 23:13, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
- you accomplished more in those three days than any other new Jan user did the entire month. -- MAGNEDETH 23:23, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
- more than me, for sure. CONGRATULATIONSDCM((Mock MeEdits)) 23:29, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks again, everybody! Hope I can contribute even more later on! ~ sol 23:31, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
- Good job!--RexRacer -talk 23:33, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks! Though I just realized the image in the userbox doesn't get pretty sparkles because of the resizing. :( ~ sol 23:34, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, seriously. I find it hard to this day to find things to do, and I'm four months old. Good for you! --Bulbapedian - Talk 23:35, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
- It's true. We are in the middle of a lul, sort of. All that's going on is a general template update. I hope you stick around, I can see that you have a lot of potential. --RexRacer -talk 23:39, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, well, I guess reading that welcome and watching the other users helped too. And I did know a bit of wikicode before joining Bulbapedia, so... ~ sol 23:40, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
Thankyou
Thankyou Sol for welcoming me into the Bulbapedia community. I edit at Wikipedia, and thought that I'd give Bulbapedia a try, now that I am playing Pokemon Diamond alot. Thanks again! Dougie 00:56, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
- You're welcome! ;) Just remember to learn the general idea of things, such as link templates, policy, et cetera. It shouldn't be too hard to get settled! ~ sol 00:58, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
Thanks
I'll Keep That in Mind Next Time! Jimmy A. FiveSixTwo 19:48, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
Trainer cards
Add Japanese info as well, please. MaverickNate 03:19, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
- I actually have absolutely no idea about the TCG. I'm just fixing up the templates using the information already there so they don't look messed up. And I only find the messed up ones using the random page link to the side. ~ sol 03:22, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
- Oh, okay then. MaverickNate 03:29, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
Look, dude
Learn to use the preview button, kay? You could've made all those edits on Archie in one. ~ overgrownsol 01:16, 11 February 2009 (UTC)
- All right, Sol. I just felt really rushed because it looked so weird, and... yeah. D: ~ overgrownsol 01:17, 11 February 2009 (UTC)
Pronuncikashun
we actually had the pronunciations added to some articles, straight from an official guide, but, there were so many arguments, the idea was scrapped. -- MAGNEDETH 05:54, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
Romanizations
Please don't mess with them, be it Japanese, Chinese or Korean. As tempting as it is, the romanizations are used consistantly around the site, and changing one ruins this chain. Because Korean and Chinese are fairly isolated languages (i.e. not derived from another) their romanizations are, well, their own way of saying it. Because Japanese has a fair amount derived from English, we assume that when a Pokémon's name is Rizaadon, it is Lizardon, and Beiriifu is Bayleef. Thanks, ----RexRacer -talk 23:25, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
- ...I'm Korean. ~ overgrownsol 23:27, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
- *facepalm* I know nothing about Korean. Japanese is my field...----RexRacer -talk 23:31, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
- Rex = owned. -- MAGNEDETH 23:31, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
- Anyway, Chikorita and Meganium can back me up if there's anyone not convinced, as the Korean would say it differently than how it's romanized, but it would still sound the same. So, uh... yeah. ~ overgrownsol 23:36, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
