Hey there. I'm AegeanKnight, and I've only recently join Bulbapedia. I'm a Korean-American, which makes me Korean by ethnicity but American by nationality. Hence, what I mostly do around here is adding or fixing Korean translations and romanizations.

Currently, I'm trying to clean up the Korean translations and romanizations of every single article, just for consistency.
Pokémon Trainer Aegis is a Korean-American player in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed and LeafGreen, Diamond and Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold and SoulSilver, Black and White, Black 2 and White 2, and Pokémon X and Y. While he does use a variety of types, his favorite is the Dragon type. In fact, in most of the games he has a solely Dragon-type team in addition to his main.

Progress so far:
On Bulbapedia, he mainly edits the "In Other Languages" section of articles, i.e. Korean translations and romanizations. He also likes fixing minor errors such as typos and grammar, or even incorrect/insufficient game data, though when he's lazy he doesn't really give an S.

A little history about myself if I may.

I first played Pokémon in 2004 or something, when I was only 5. My friends at school all had GameBoy consoles (one girl had two of each GameBoy generation, as well as Pokémon RGB, GSC, and RSE), so I kind of borrowed theirs and played around at lunch time. Eventually, my grandpa, who came for a visit from Korea, bought me a GameBoy Advance SP, as well as a copy of Pokémon FireRed. Of course, by that time I was fascinated by the franchise (I feel a little sorry for my grandpa, who passed away several years later, since all I did when I visited him was screw around with my Pokémon games). And that was the official start of my Pokémon life.

When Pokémon DP was near its release in America, I was eager to ask Mom for a copy. Luckily, I had a loose tooth that those damned dentists took away from me; I was furious at that because I couldn't put my tooth under my pillow. So instead, Mom took me to Target and got me a copy of Pokémon Diamond (a DS Lite as well).

{| class="navibox" style="10px;background:#FFFFFF;text-align:center;width:100%;"
I started getting bored of Kanto and Sinnoh, so I decided to ask for yet another Pokémon game, this time Pokémon Emerald. At first, I actually thought of getting Pokémon LeafGreen, because I really wanted a Sandshrew and a Bellsprout. So I rented one from GameStop. But while shopping at Circuit City, the moment I saw Rayquaza on a green box, I knew I had to buy that instead. So there's my third Pokémon game.

|
Of course, in between these games I also got Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team and Ranger. But honestly, I don't really want to talk about spin-off games^^

Anyway, in 2008, I came to Korea because of Dad's job. Back then, the only Pokémon games where DPPt, which, frankly, I didn't want to play much. So I had to make do with what I had.

Generation VI
About two years later, Dad introduced me to the R4, a wonderful (not to mention illegal :p) little chip of...wonder. He downloaded Pokémon Platinum and HGSS, and I almost literally knocked myself out playing them. Soon, I began to learn how ROMs work, and by the time Pokémon BW was out in Japan, I had both copies on my R4. Of course, later, I asked a friend in America to get me a copy of Pokémon White.
Pokémon X
{| class="table" style="10px;background:#013D6C;"
In 2012, when the 3DS was released, I asked Mom to get me one, as well as a few other games and most importantly, Pokémon White 2 (I had to work my ass off for it, though; I had to do well on the impending terms). After beating it a few times (with the help of Marriland Walkthroughs heheh), I started getting bored of Pokémon.
|-

|
For two years from then, I had virtually "quit" Pokémon. Now, I got bored of life and started playing again; now I'm re-addicted. Of course, since Dad believes that ROMs are okay to use (because everyone else uses them), I have to download ROMs myself to play. Now, don't worry about legal issues, when I grow up I'm going to buy every main series Pokémon game (starting from Generation III) and two of each handheld console (GameBoy Advance, DS Lite, and the 3DS).

So here I am now, a Pokémon fan (again), and I have to say, addictions aren't called so for no reason. They really do get people hooked.

I'm a Steel-type (because I'm a knight) and Dragon-type (because they're awesome) trainer, though I tend to make versatile teams just for the hell of it. And by versatile, not only do I train a wide range of types, but I also have my Pokémon learn many types of moves.

Of the Steel-types, I like Steelix, Scizor, Aggron, Metagross, Excadrill, and Bisharp. Of the Dragon-types, I like Dragonite, Altaria, Salamence, Garchomp, and Hydreigon. I also like Pidgeot, Gyarados, Crobat, Tyranitar, Mightyena, Swellow, Gardevoir, Gallade, Walrein, Staraptor, Krookodile, Zoroark, and Volcarona.

I generally don't like Legendary Pokémon, because they usually have signature moves with only 5PP, making it impossible to make an effective moveset for in-game. Not to mention that they hoard a lot of experience points.

On Bulbapedia, he mainly edits the "In Other Languages" section of articles, i.e. Korean translations and romanizations. He also likes fixing minor errors such as typos and grammar, or even incorrect/insufficient game data, though when he's lazy he doesn't really give an S.
