Why does the Gold sprite appear to be facing AWAY from the opponent. It's backwards...Was that a Nintendo whoops moment or is its eye facing the opponent so it's ment to look like that? [[User:Bttsstewart|Bttsstewart]] 01:37, 16 December 2008 (UTC)

Wears a hat? That's a feather crest, and I don't see any sort of witch hat in there...--BJG

>You don't see the resemblance to a witch? I'm surprised. It is supposed to be a crest, but it's also supposed to be a pointed witches' hat. Heck - even it's tailfeathers are shaped like the bristles on a witches' broomstick. The whole design comes off as a witch/crow combination.

>And for that matter, why would a regular "feather crest", have a round, circular, flat part?

Compare the pointed nose to the beak, the hat to the feather crest, and the back of the broom to Murkrow's tail feathers. Doesn't the whole thing seem at least a little similar to eachother?

- Zeta, again.

...nope, still not seeing it. The way the tail is wrapped reminds me of sage brushing, but that's just coincidence.--BJG

I see it. Now that it's mentioned... Evkl 19:58, 29 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Name Origin

I'm pretty sure that the "Mur" part of the name is derived from the word "murder", which is the name for a group of crows, not "murky". Anyone else have any input?--Yoshi1001 03:38, 19 September 2007 (UTC)

Murk. Crow. Say it fast. Murkrow. TTEchidna 10:12, 19 September 2007 (UTC)

Third colour?

Is there such a thing as a gold Murkrow? A friend of mine said she saw one in Eterna Forest. Inker 04:20, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

Shiny Murkrow are purple. There are no gold Murkrow. TTEchidna 04:30, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

Murkrow the steel type

Gold Sprite Backwards

Why does the Gold sprite appear to be facing AWAY from the opponent. It's backwards...Was that a Nintendo whoops moment or is its eye facing the opponent so it's ment to look like that? Bttsstewart 01:37, 16 December 2008 (UTC)
