2013 Birthday Pokemon

This video shows a female birthday-event Sylveon. Since the 3DS supposedly hasn't been hacked (and the video is apparently from an unstable handheld camera), I would be inclined to believe it's legit. At the very least, I would say it should be at least as trustworthy as sources that tell you the birthday Pokemon can supposedly only be males.

That player's name is "Sara" and their character is female, so I would make a wild guess that the Pokemon's gender might depend on the player or character's gender. (Maybe the game aligns them and doesn't let players with a male character receive the birthday events as female, or maybe the Pokemon Center store staff control which gender is distributed (and change it based on the gender of the person receiving the event). In any case, I wouldn't say it's impossible.)

Because of this, I've set all the birthday Pokemon as male/female for now. (For the record, here's a male birthday-event Sylveon using Celebration too.)

...On a bit of a tangent, I think if we're willing to just copy the Wonder Cards (and some of the other details) for each Pokemon, we should be willing to concede that all of the birthday Pokemon probably know Celebration. At least, I highly doubt that someone was able to confirm each Wonder Card but simultaneously unable to confirm movesets. Tiddlywinks (talk) 18:45, 14 November 2013 (UTC)

UK Charizard?

Should the UK Charizard be added here? It's on the serial code page but it was also distributed at Nintendo Zones (which the serial code page mentions). Although it is a bit of a special case because it is the first nintendo zone event and these appear to be done over the internet and you all you need to do to access it from home is change your SSID of a wireless router... The UK Charizard is a region-locked event, which means it can't go on this page. The UK Charizard is better suited for the PAL region serial code page, since it is region-locked and it was also distributed by serial codes. In addition, the Spring 2014 Magmar and Electabuzz were also distributed at Nintendo Zones in some countries and all Wi-Fi events are distributed at Nintendo Zones in Japan.
