Box Toppers

Do Box Toppers count as Jumbo cards? Are they the same size as a 'normal' jumbo? Should we add the oversize box toppers to the jumbo list, or just leave a "see also" at the bottom? SpaceNarwhal (talk) 08:38, 27 May 2015 (UTC)

I think no. Box Topper aren't released in an event, so I think they are tournament legal. Maybe just leave a "see also" section. --~~ThePokémonFanSince1995~~-- 09:07, 27 May 2015 (UTC)

Only the Box Toppers from EX Dragon onwards are legal for play, they're no different to Secret cards. The earlier ones are physically bigger than normal cards (it's shown in the picture on the Box Topper page.) I just don't know whether we want to differentiate between Jumbo Cards and Oversize Box Toppers, or if they can all go in the same list...

I'll leave "see also" sections on both pages for now, until I can find out exactly how big an Oversize Box Topper is, and whether it's the same as a Jumbo card. SpaceNarwhal (talk) 10:31, 27 May 2015 (UTC)

Our definition of Jumbo cards is anything bigger than the standard size. There are a number of variations within Japanese Jumbo cards. ^Maverick_Nate 14:40, 27 May 2015 (UTC)

on the subject of tournament legality of jumbo cards

At the 2022 NAIC, one player brought a deck made up entirely of jumbo cards, and the judges allegedly let them play at least to a game 3. [1] —DaneeBound ^Discu 21:57, 24 June 2022 (UTC)

European exclusive S & V Jumbo cards
