I'm certain I'm right look at [http://pokesho.com/img_tokusetu/t_map2.gif Pokesho's Pokémon World Map]. オウゴンカン島 ''Ōgonkan Island'' is the name of the island where the lunatic guys worship Meowth. And now compare it with [http://archives.bulbagarden.net/w/upload/5/5a/Orange.jpg English Version Map]. See? Ōgonkan Island and Golden Island is exactly the same island. So, Golden Island IS the place where these lunatic guys worship Meowth. So, it actually WAS explored in anime. I'm certain I'm right look at Pokesho's Pokémon World Map. オウゴンカン島 Ōgonkan Island is the name of the island where the lunatic guys worship Meowth. And now compare it with English Version Map. See? Ōgonkan Island and Golden Island is exactly the same island. So, Golden Island IS the place where these lunatic guys worship Meowth. So, it actually WAS explored in anime.
