I found a platinum Combee on GTS with an english name so i'm wondering if it's out in the U.S yet because I live in U.K. Laxafett
- There are ways to get patched Platinum games in English. How do you know it's from Platinum anyway? — Laoris (Blah) 18:35, 9 December 2008 (UTC)
Probability
What's the probability of getting a female Combee as opposed to a male? 1337Fire ►strike! 12:47, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
- In honey trees, I mean. 1337Fire ►strike! 12:48, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
- If you factor in all the other Pokémon you can encounter... I calculate about 2.5%. If you only count the Combee you'll find. 12.5% as stated in the article. - Kogoro | Talk to me - 13:00, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
- Note that the species is fixed sometime prior to when the honey tree starts to shake; however, level, stats, and gender are not determined until the tree is checked. You can save in front of the tree and soft-reset as necessary; for example, if save, get a Combee, and reset, you'll keep getting a Combee no matter what; however, you'll be able to soft-reset until you get a female. --Shiningpikablu252 14:46, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
Breeding Question
Can you get a female Combee from breeding a male Combee with a Ditto?--I'm Pokelova(Talk) 01:15, 3 May 2009 (UTC)
- I don't see any reason why you wouldn't be able to. However it could take a while to get a female, as only 1/8 of Combee are female. On average you should get a female every 8 eggs. I'll test it anyway though. Werdnae 01:52, 3 May 2009 (UTC)
- Lucky me, confirmation in the second egg. So the answer is yes, you can hatch a female combee from a male + Ditto. Just like you can for any other species. Werdnae 02:23, 3 May 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks, I've been trying for a while but gave up. Now I have hope!--I'm Pokelova(Talk) 03:59, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
