Judging from where both Xavier and Calem's names are located on the official website, why can't we say that the NPC's name is Calem and that the identical player's name is Xavier? Obviously, they don't have the same plotline (one being your neighbor and one being you), so technically they could be considered separate characters. Besides, the official website is actually using both names, in what seem to be these two situations. I know that this is a rather complicated way to put it, and it may be easier to call him Calem and say that Xavier was exclusively prerelease (although Calem technically is, too), but this is what the website seems to be saying, and saying otherwise would be just as speculative, if not more so. Why?
Um, why does the trivia say: "Prior to the release of Pokémon X and Y, pre-release media reffered to Calem as "Xavier." "
Wouldn't it make more sense to say: "Currently Pokémon X and Y pre-release media is reffering to Calem as "Xavier." "? You know, beacause the game isn't actually released yet? ★☆Togetic45☆★ 15:12, 21 June 2013 (UTC)

Player versus NPC
Judging from where both Xavier and Calem's names are located on the official website, why can't we say that the NPC's name is Calem and that the identical player's name is Xavier?
