Clothing cameo?

I showed my friends the recent scan from Famitsu here via Pokebeach and one of them commented that the male character was wearing a jacket from someone in the Megaman series. Roll Caskett apparently. It does look strickingly similar... Think it was intended? MK 01:19, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

Mebbe. Either that or Pokémon is getting revenge on Mega Man for stealing their ideas. Ph34r4everTalk page06:10 16 Feb 2008

...Just noticed another similarity. You know those 'side-quests'? They are also in Star Force. O.o Optimatum♏Talk|12:26 5 Apr 2008

Official?

Is there an official website for this game?PokeManiac102 17:54, 16 February 2008 (UTC)

Wait...

So what are the green uniforms for? 493OptimatumTalk|12:26 20 Mar 2008

School maybe? (Although a ten year-old wearing such short shorts seems rather lolicon...)--Loveはドコ? (talk contribs) 13:55, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

Yes it is the school uniform from the first parts of the game.

Meaning of Batonnage?

Does anyone know the meaning of Batonnage? It isn't Japanese is it? - unsigned comment from Veronica (talkcontribs)

Only definition I could find is here. Well, it does make sense, since you spin your touch pen around. --Pizzaman 11:58, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
It seems to be the name of a new upgrade to the Capture Styler. Hajime was yelling it a lot when he did that thing with his fingers in the anime special. The word appears to be derived from "Battle" and something else, though that wine find is interesting. --FabuVinny |Talk Page| 12:02, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
I always figured it had more to do with "baton" than anything else, with the baton being the Styler. --Martonimos((Argh|Blargh)) 19:44, 22 June 2008 (UTC)

Should we take it off of standby till release mode?

I'm asking since it's been almost 3 months since it's release, and it still looks like its on standby for the release. I mean, it's getting a bit ridiculous that we haven't updated the Info about it. I mean, is it too much to at LEAST have a plot section? I mean, no offense, but I'm a bit surprised that it's been on standby mode even AFTER it's release. I mean, it can't be because of the Japanese release date because the anime episodes, as soon as they are released in japan have their articles edited heavily for stuff that happens in the episodes.

can someone care to edit the article to make it more up date for its release. I'd do it myself, but 1. Battonage hasn't been released in America yet, and 2. even if it has, I'm not buying it due to my being on a boycott.

Hmm...let's see what our dudes have been doing. The plot section of PMD2 is officially belonging to Wikipedia...or is it the opposite? It's the Θρtιmαtum♏Talk|Links14:40 1 Jun 2008
I checked Wikipedia, and there's... no plot section there either. Actually, I noticed that many pages and links to it are bare to the bone (In fact, the only FAQ for Batonnage on GameFAQ's is an Arena Guide.). And it's been at LEAST 2 months, if not three months since it's release in japan, since it's Japanese release date in Japan is supposed to be March the 20th, 2008. English name

Just so you know, I was watching Nintendo's E3 segment just now, and they mentioned this game's name is now Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia. So I moved it accordingly. Toastypk 17:05, 15 July 2008 (UTC)

Team

Is the Team's name really Dark-dark? Did the guy just translate? tc26 00:03, 2 August 2008 (UTC)

It says on Serebii that the new name for Team Yamiyami is Team Dim Sun. Should this be added to the article?--Blazevoir!! 21:59, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
I'm still trying to figure out policies, but I think Serebii is not a reliable source. Rawr I say! 22:01, 7 October 2008 (UTC)

Mini-Site Up

Just thought I'd let you guys know that Pokémon.com has teaser info up for the game. --Manga-in-a-bottle 10:25, 22 October 2008 (UTC)
