Looking at the trivia, there's one that notes that Sentret's sprite is lighter-colored in the Hoenn, Kanto, and Sinnoh-based games than it is in either Generation II or HG/SS. Is it possible that this decision could be a deliberate one on the part of the creators to indicate that Sentret is non-native to those areas? Since it's caught in the Sevii Islands in FR/LG and traded to R/S/E, or caught with Poké Radar in D/P/Pt, it would make a lot of sense. The anime has already set the precedent for Pokémon having color variations when they are seen in different areas. It's just something I noticed, but I didn't want to add it to the trivia without discussing it first. == Flying squirrel? Emolga? ==
Is {{p|Sentret}} also shares the traits with {{p|Emolga}}? I noticed the article "It also shares traits with flying squirrels, sugar gliders, and raccoons", and Emolga is also based on a flying squirrel. Even {{p|Sentret}} also can breed with {{p|Emolga}} because of [[Fieid (Egg group)|Field egg group]]. Does this mean Sentret and Emolga are flying squirrels? Raccoon

Behavior I'll grant, but that thing looks like a racoon to me. - unsigned comment from Blackjack Gabbiani (talkcontribs)

In other words, there's nothing on Sentret that couldn't have come from a Meercat. Even the stripes and markings are similar to a meercat's. It could be just that people associate it with racoons more readily because racoons are more familar.

- Zeta - unsigned comment from Zeta (talkcontribs)

I'm looking more at the tail... - unsigned comment from Blackjack Gabbiani (talkcontribs)

How about a FERRET, considering most pokemon don't change what they're based on when they evolve, and Sentret could just as easily refer to a sentry ferret. - unsigned comment from Sk8torchic (talkcontribs)

HGSS

Should we start adding HGSS spaces on the Pokédex descriptions?--I'm Pokelova(Talk) 01:28, 10 May 2009 (UTC)

And why would we do that? So we could have blank spaces all over our pages for the next six months?--RexRacer 01:33, 10 May 2009 (UTC)

Sprite

On my computer it doesnt show Sentret's hgss sprites. Is it just my computer or others as well?--Riolufan 10:07, 18 July 2009 (UTC)

Sprite Colors

PhantomJunkie 16:46, 15 August 2010 (UTC)

Flying squirrel? Emolga?

Is Sentret also shares the traits with Emolga? I noticed the article "It also shares traits with flying squirrels, sugar gliders, and raccoons", and Emolga is also based on a flying squirrel. Even Sentret also can breed with Emolga because of Field egg group. Does this mean Sentret and Emolga are flying squirrels? Special Stage Route (pit stop) 08:26, 19 June 2012 (UTC)
