Importance

Sobble has only had a big scene in two episodes so far. Doesn't that mean it doesn't meet the criteria for it's own page? Playerking95 (talk) 11:38, 2 August 2020 (UTC)

Agreed. Sobble seemed rushed. It seems like the page was created just 'cuz it was a Galar mon. Then again, we already have a page and there's no doubt Sobble will appear more so we might as well keep it...--ShallowShaddoll (talk) 12:10, 2 August 2020 (UTC)
Though I do think if Sobble got a page for having an entire episode for itself, Golurk should get one too cuz Golurk got 2 Episodes to itself, and is featured in Ga-Ole.--ShallowShaddoll (talk) 12:12, 2 August 2020 (UTC)
I'll admit I was surprised that admin mainspaced it so quickly, I created the page to be worked on.--BigDocFan (talk) 12:18, 2 August 2020 (UTC)
No, it didn't get an article 'cuz it was a Galar mon'. The episode following its debut was entirely dedicated to it, i.e. it had a huge impact on the plot. In addition, it has appeared in literally all the episodes since the debut. While I agree the article is still somewhat of a stub, that does not mean that this subject matter is any less notable. And Golurk got 2 Episodes dedicated to it. Magikarp got 2 episodes dedicated to it. If that's your argument, it's not very consistent.--ShallowShaddoll (talk) 15:17, 2 August 2020 (UTC)
The discussion here is whether the Pokémon of a protagonist with only 30 episodes is notable? Eventually all main Goh Pokés will have a page, I think it's a matter of waiting to have more things to put. This discussion seems to me a little pointless.--Hikaru Wazana (talk) 15:29, 2 August 2020 (UTC)
I don't mind if someone has a question, especially if it helps make things more transparent. I should have addressed Golurk and Magikarp in my previous message, sorry about that. Those two are not out of the question, but we have yet to have a discussion about those. The splitting of Goh's Pokémon was done in order to lay the groundwork, so that we have a starting point. Sobble was the first topic of discussion that came to mind, which is why it got mainspaced before the other two. They'll get their page eventually, if they are deemed notable. The notability criteria itself, in general, is being discussed and there are various aspects to think about, which is why it will take some time to finalize. Again, other notable Pokémon haven't been forgotten. We just haven't had an opportunity to sit down and work through some of the details. That is all. AdilTalk page 15:40, 2 August 2020 (UTC)

Manga role

[1]

Does anyone accompanying the manga know how Sobble is treated in it? Machito Gomi himself published this image with the Pokémon with Goh. What chapters did it appear in before the chapter with Suicune?
Is it safe to put it as one of Goh's Pokémon in this manga?.--Hikaru Wazana (talk) 13:59, 16 February 2020 (UTC)
So far, Sobble doesn't exist in the manga in any capacity. Its capture episode wasn't adapted and all later appearances were skipped. Is that image for the manga, or is it meant to promote Grookey's upcoming appearance in the anime? If it's the latter, it's anime art, even if it's drawn by the mangaka. We'll probably need a translation first. Ataro (talk) 22:59, 16 February 2021 (UTC)

Gender confirmation?

In JN078 Inteleon has a sort of romantic scene with Kecleon who is confirmed female by its trainer, who clearly called it "lady". Is that enough to confirm Inteleon's gender? --Horn (talk) 13:49, 29 August 2021 (UTC)

No, since Inteleon itself didn't get its gender explicitly confirmed. And were not basing genders based of gender stereotypes.--ForceFire 14:19, 29 August 2021 (UTC)

I had the exact same point Honey Asad (talk) 14:30, 29 August 2021 (UTC)
