FireRed LeafGreen The cheerful spirit of its Trainer gives it energy for its psychokinetic power. It spins and dances when happy. Generation IV Diamond Pearl It is highly perceptive of its Trainer's feelings. It dances when it is feeling happy. Platinum If its Trainer becomes happy, it overflows with energy, dancing joyously while spinning about. HeartGold SoulSilver It has a psychic power that enables it to distort the space around it and see into the future.

であいは とつぜん だったよ

ぼくが なくした おもちゃの ロボットを みつけたとき

しばかりきの モーターから ポケモンは とびだしてきたんだ

で ぼくは ロボットを もったまま そのポケモンを みつめていたんだ……

その ポケモンは なんだか ふわふわと うかんだまま ふしぎそうに ぼくに ちかよってきた

ポケモンは でんきを だしているのか まわりの くうきが びりびり はじけるような おとがして……

このままだと ぼくの かおも しびれる！ とおもった そのとき ポケモンは わっらたように みえた

そのとき わかったんだ ぼくたちは ともだちに なれるって

ふしぎな ポケモンを ロトムって よぶことにした

たんじゅん なんだけど ロトムは しばかりきの モーターから その すかたを あらわしたからね

モーターと ロトム なんだか わかるでしょ

ロトムは イかした ポケモンだよ

すがたを けすことだって できるし なんといったって いろんな きかいの なかに はいりこめる！

さらに はいりこんだ きかいを うごかせるんだ ロトムは！

ぼくと ロトムは どんなときも いっしょ だった

ロトムの からだから でている でんきのせいで なでたり だきしめたりは で きなかったけど せんぜん へいき だったよ！

だって ぼくと ロトムは こころと こころで いつも つうじあっているから

あるひの ことだった

ふわふわ ういている ロトムを みて いつもとは ぎゃくに ぼくが ロトムを おどかして みたんだ

そうしたら…… ロトムは おどろきすぎたのか からだからの でんきが いつもより ひろがり ぼくは しびれ きぜつ した……

きづいた ぼくは まわりに ロトムが いないことを しり ひっしになって さがしまわった

(きにすることなんて ないのに)

(ぼくは だいじょうぶだよ)

(いつものように あそぼうよ)

いっぱい ことばが あふれてくるのに それを きいてくれる ともだちは どこにも みつからなくて……

それは ロトムを さがしている とき だったんだ

ぼく ゴミすてばで おもちゃの ロボットを みつけた

ぼくと めがあった ロボットは なぜだか てを ふってくれた

それは ロトムだと わかった ぼくは かけより ちからいっぱい だきしめたまま ぼくは ロトムに たくさん はなしかけた

そのたび ロボットの めが うれしそうに ひかって……

きっと なかの ロトムから たくさん でんきが でてるんだそう

なんだか いままでよりも ロトムのことが わかる きがした

そして ぼくたちは ずっと いっしょ だということも
