Go's Butterfree (Japanese: ゴウのバタフリー Go's Butterfree) is the sixth Pokémon that Go caught in the Kanto region, and his seventh overall.

In the anime

Butterfree debuted in SS006, where he was the sixth Bug-type Pokémon native to the Kanto region that Go caught. Afterwards, he was seen with all of his other Pokémon before Professor Sakuragi suggested leaving it at his Institute.

In SS015, Go used Butterfree alongside some of his other Bug Pokémon to find the bone of a wild Cubone, which he later caught.

Personality and characteristics

Butterfree is shown to be calm. He also is shown to be friendly and listen to its trainer as seen in SS015, when Cubone's bone was missing, Go sent him out to search for it.
