I'm not a regular contributor, as is probably apparent, but I like to help out occasionally and make this place more organized and complete. I mainly focus on articles about the animé and the games, and filling in info of one medium in a page of the other if it should be there (like Saturn's Toxicroak, for example).

About me
About me, well... I'm an 18-year-old Mexican male, as is apparent from the userboxes. I'm currently a senior in high school (12th grade/6to semestre/3ero de prepa/however they call the last year of high school wherever you live), and I'm also in the IBO program (I'd spell it out but I can't. I dare you to get it right. =P)
I've been a Pokémon fan since I was 8 or 9 or 7 years old (can't remember); you know, back then when it was popular, and everyone at school had Pokémon TCG cards and Tazos and watched the Pokémon animé. I just kept on with it. Well, actually I had stopped being a fan when I was like 12, but then Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire came out and I just had to buy one... and of course a GBA SP to go with them. (I got all my handheld consoles to primarily to play Pokémon, though I've enjoyed other games as well). I'm mainly a fan of the games now, though I've recently started to watch the DP animé (in Japanese, but subbed, as I don't understand a word of it).
About my other interests... Well, I'm a gamer, and own a PS2 (hardly used now), Wii, DS and Xbox360. I constantly have games I've bought that I haven't played, games I'd like to play but haven't bought (because I already have many I haven't played), and things like that, because I love being thorough in my games, and using guides as less as possible (though I usually give in at least once per game).
And... that's about it, for now. I probably won't update this in a while, but maybe I will. I don't know.
Game Things I'd Change
New section! In here I'll list the game mechanics/moves/Pokémon stats/types/etc. I'd like to be changed in the core Pokémon games. Some are realistic and some are practically impossible; some are original or heavily modified ideas while some are some other dude's (or dudette's). Read and enjoy.
I might make this its own subpage if it gets too long, but for now, it's here.
Status ailments
Before you get alarmed, I wouldn't completely change status ailments. However, I'd make some significant changes to Freezing. First, it would get its own move and, instead of being a hard-to-get-out-of sleep, would work more like Paralysis, making the Pokémon only able to move sometimes, and reducing Special Attack. Think of it as a 'brainfreeze', and since some Special Attacks have to do with the mind... This would 'nerf' Freezing, so to speak, making it 'fair' for it to have its own move that exclusively freezes, and would give a Special Attack-based equivalent to burn.
I used to think Confusion should be upgraded to 'official' status ailment too, but... not anymore. It'd be strange, really, because it would have to have so many exceptions to what regular status ailments do..
Now, a neat table encompassing my hypothetical status ailments, with some invented abilities thrown in.

Static
Limber
Cheri Berry

Chesto Berry
Poison
Regular: Takes 1/8th of total HP each turn. Bad: Takes 1/16th of total HP the first turn, and an additional 1/16th every turn.
None
No
Poison Point
Immunity
Pecha Berry
Burn

Magma Armor

Now, for the moves that cause them... Each status would have one 'main' attack, so to speak, that causes it, which would be one of the first 5 TM's, similar to how the ailment-curing berries are the first. They would all have the same stats (yes, I'm that much of an order freak). Here's a table for it:
TM
Name
Type
Category
Pwr.
Acc.
PP
TM01
Thunder Wave
style="background:#electric color" | Electric
style="background:#status color" | Status
—
75%
15
TM02
Hypnosis
style="background:#psychic color" | Psychic
style="background:#status color" | Status
—
75%
15
TM03
Toxic
style="background:#poison color" | Poison
style="background:#status color" | Status
—
75%
15
TM04
Will-O-Wisp
style="background:#fire color" | Fire
style="background:#status color" | Status
—
75%
15
TM05
Arctic Chill
style="background:#ice color" | Ice
style="background:#status color" | Status
—
75%
15
Now, for the other exclusively status-inducing moves... I'd think they deserve to be "better" in a sense since they'd be not so common, not being TM's unlike the ones above. (This is one of the reasons I put a low-ish accuracy on those.)
Powder Moves
First, the powders. I don't like how Sleep Powder, PoisonPowder, and Stun Spore seem to be parallel moves but fall short thanks to PP, naming, and types (two are grass while one is poison). Also Spore is too similar to Sleep Powder, except of course for the accuracy. This, together with what I've already mentioned about making them better, would lead me to changing and merging those three into:
Name
Type
Category
Pwr.
Acc.
PP
Sleep Powder
style="background:#grass color" | Grass
style="background:#status color" | Status
—
95%
10
Stun Spore
style="background:#bug color" | Bug
style="background:#status color" | Status
—
95%
10
Poison Dust
style="background:#poison color" | Poison
style="background:#status color" | Status
—
95%
10
Now, with Sleep Powder's higher accuracy, Spore wouldn't be necessary (the Paras and Shroomish lines could easily learn Sleep Powder instead). Also, Stun Spore would be Bug-typed so that all three would be different types (Yes, more Grass types learn it than Bug types, but this applies also to PoisonPowder, now Dust). PoisonPowder's name change would also add to the parallelism of the moves.
I might add some more stuff later.

Hi everyone!

I'm Memo326, also known as Grumpig (on Serebii.net) or MemoDLSG (on many other places). I've been a member of Bulbapedia for... I don't remember how long. Yes, I know, and I'm just starting my User page now. It's just that I wasn't sure what I wanted to write every time I started... In fact, I don't know what to write now, I'm just writing whatever comes into my head. (Things like that are why I mainly edit articles and not write new ones from scratch).

Me in Bulbapedia

I'm not a regular contributor, as is probably apparent, but I like to help out occasionally and make this place more organized and complete. I mainly focus on articles about the animé and the games, and filling in info of one medium in a page of the other if it should be there (like Saturn's Toxicroak, for example).
