About me
歡迎光臨, I'm 神奇超龍, known as 神奇長龍 in the forums. Please look at the sidebar for more information about me.
Name origin
To those who are wondering, 神奇超龍 can be roughly translated as "Miraculous ultra dragon". 神奇 is derived from 神奇寶貝, the official Taiwanese* translation of Pokémon. The 神智 in my (new) signature means "mind" or "wisdom". It is also derived from 神 (God, supernatural) and 小智 (Ash). 超 can be derived from 超能力, psychic. 龍 simply means dragon. As for 長龍, it just means long dragon.
Contributions
I'm not really that important. I just help the site by doing some minor edits. But basically, majority of my contributions are related to Chinese, which are:
- Chinese names (Some of the names are interesting...)
- Adding the etymology of Pokémon names *
- Improving this page (12/156 of Gen V Pokémon completed)
- Removing fan names (With those fansubs around, they're never going to disappear)
- Adding (some of) the names of the characters and places *
- Adding names of moves and abilities * (Need help here!)
- Adding the etymology of Pokémon names *
- Chinese episode titles * (May start adding Best Wishes (神奇寶貝 超級願望！*) episodes soon)
For now, I won't be contributing much in here. Besides my very busy schedule, I'm helping a bit in here, a possible Chinese affiliate of Encyclopædiæ Pokémonis. The administrator has already requested here.
