:::: The Mario Bros. theme goes "dodo de do do de do," while Thrash is "do de do do de do." The missing note isn't enough to change the fact that it goes to the same rhythm and tune as the Mario theme, especially not when the missing note could be put into its proper location without changing the beat. Generation I games

Hey, Ive been playing the Gen I games, and Thrash seems to do 4 turns of damage all the time, not 2-3 as described... --Jdthebud 00:47, 18 February 2011 (UTC)

Generation V

Should we add that Trash does the rhythm of the Mario Bros. Song? - unsigned comment from Shineamo (talkcontribs)

I already had that covered, but it was deleted for some reason. Pressthebutton (talk) 01:27, 12 October 2012 (UTC)
Cause it isn't. It is missing a note. So it isn't really going with the rhythm of the SMB theme.--ForceFire 02:23, 12 October 2012 (UTC)

Just did a quick google of Pokemon Thrash Mario. A good chunk of the internet also agrees that it's the Mario theme --Shadowater (talk) 10:58, 14 December 2012 (UTC)
The Mario Bros. theme goes "dodo de do do de do," while Thrash is "do de do do de do." The missing note isn't enough to change the fact that it goes to the same rhythm and tune as the Mario theme, especially not when the missing note could be put into its proper location without changing the beat. Diachronos (talk) 19:52, 23 January 2013 (UTC)
Is the missing note really enough to forbid this from Trivia entirely? It sounds like exactly something that ought to be listed under a Trivia section in any case. It's far too similar to be a coincidence. Blueapple128 (talk) 15:38, 4 September 2015 (UTC)
