::: Yes you are able to use this attack on wild Pokemon, at least one Pokemon should be holding an item. It says it right there in the article so no reason to add something that exists. Also no this is basically the same move as trick, it just swaps held items between Pokemon, there is no trading. [[User:.insomniac.|.insomniac.]] 03:44, 31 March 2010 (UTC)

The move says that it was introduced in Generation IV, yet the next subheading says "Generations III-IV".  Should this be fixed to just "Generation IV"? [[User:Josephdean21|Josephdean21]] 13:27, 14 February 2012 (UTC)

Questions

For some reason on every other site, I see people asking if this move can be used on wild Pokémon. It would probably be a good idea to mention somewhere that it can.

Also, the question I still have is can this be used to trade items in a battle with other players? It may seem a better option than trading Pokémon with items held. Fire95 03:35, 31 March 2010 (UTC)

The question I had was in regard to other player's Pokémon, could you, conceivably, use switcheroo in a player battle to switch items around, instead of trading Pokémon with them. Would the item be kept after the battle? Or set back to the original owner?
