In Red, my Kangaskan evolved a M', I forget but I remember I was in a mountainous region when it happened and there was a cave enterance. That might give you some clues to its levels depending on the leve of the wild pokemon in regions with grass near a cave enterence. If I had to say it was around level 30 or so. At any rate I was shocked, I had a gameshark but it wasn't in at the time and I had done the item duplication trick a few times (I don't think I caught missingno tho).

TALK:

If Kangaskhan is a female only species then how is it able to breed?

Ok, think of what kind of mammal(pokemon) reproduces asexualy?

  • Not really any that's widely known of. But don't think about it too hard--Kangaskhan breeds in the same way that Chansey, Tauros, or any other gendered Pokémon does. You can pair a Kangaskhan with a male Lairon, and so the Lairon is the father and the Kangaskhan is the mother. Likewise with anything else--for genderless Pokémon, I don't know. - RBYGSCRSFRLGEPD 15:08, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
You breed a genderless Pokémon with a Ditto. --Shiny NoctowlTalk | FunFile:224MS.gif 12:22, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

Should we add "despite the addition of baby pokemon in Generation II" to the comment about Kangaskhan hatching with baby? One would think it'd be a natural choice to have a baby pokemon. though that WOULD raise another question about where the baby comes from when it evolves.

Best answer to that is that one of these days they'll introduce a baby and male form. Call the male Kangaskirk. TTEchidna 20:47, 28 October 2007 (UTC)

Actually, there is a species of lizard that is all female.479GizmoGuy474 06:08, 12 January 2008 (UTC)

Evolved

In Red, my Kangaskan evolved a M', I forget but I remember I was in a mountainous region when it happened and there was a cave enterance. That might give you some clues to its levels depending on the leve of the wild pokemon in regions with grass near a cave enterence. If I had to say it was around level 30 or so. At any rate I was shocked, I had a gameshark but it wasn't in at the time and I had done the item duplication trick a few times (I don't think I caught missingno tho).

Pre-evolution

If they ever decide to introduce a pre-evolution of Kangaskhan, logically it should look just like the baby in Kangaskhan's pouch. Obviously, this raises the problem of where the baby in its pouch will appear from when it evolves. But wait! A simple solution; Remove the baby in its pouch on Kangaskhan's sprite.
