I don't think the trivia "Giovanni's Persian and James' Mime Jr. are never used in battle" is true. According to this manga (How I Became a Pokémon Card by Kagemaru Himeno) Giovanni have got his Persian since he was a child. --Valepert 18:19, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

The Trivia
I don't think the trivia "Giovanni's Persian and James' Mime Jr. are never used in battle" is true. While it is true that you've never seen Giovanni's Persian used in battle, James' Mime Jr. was used in a battle against Francesca's Chingling in The Bells Are Singing!.
I am going to delete that, now.
