Possible Dub edit
I don't know if this is true or not, but I heard that there was a scene in the Japanese episode where they zoomed in on Houndour's wound and there was a lot of blood, and this part was either cut or altered in the dub. I'm thinking it's not true, because if I remember correctly, that source said that this episod was temporarily banned, which (going by Bulbapedia's airing dates) it wasn't and was shown exactly when it should have been.
