Durians?

I think this berry is based on the Durian, as most of the berries seem to be based on real fruit and this one is a match. I didn't want to add it without someone else agreeing, though...

That seems sensical. Of course, I'd never even heard of durians until I played Super Mario Sunshine...--Shiningpikablu252 18:33, 16 November 2007 (UTC)
If you want to i'd back you up on that.Looking at a pic of a Durin next to the Durian they are practically identical.I don't think it's much of a leap to say that's what the berry was based off of.Ai Hikari 21:07, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

Burmy

This berry has a strong resemblance to Burmy (plant cloak).AlienX2008 07:42, 28 March 2009 (UTC)

Japanese name?

At the top of the article, it gives the pronunciation of the Japanese name as "Dori", but in the sidebar and bottom of the article, it says "Duri". The Hiragana in all 3 places says "dori". (Also, Google Translate translates "durian berry" to Japanese as "dorian".) Chupi 04:31, 11 November 2010 (UTC)
