I don't think this is a notable enough trivia, since a similar trivia piece would go on to other articles; e.g., Rock-type for Pewter, Water-type for Cerulean... I tried deleting it but Yami Takashi reverted it with the edit summary:

I'm questioning the notability here because I don't want to start an edit/revert war. - [[User talk:SpontaneousCombusken|<span style="background:#D55208"><span style="color:#FFFFFD">s.</span></span>]][[User:SpontaneousCombusken|<span style="background:#F4DA8E"><span style="color:#E57E4C;">'''Combusken'''</span></span>]] 02:06, 19 September 2008 (UTC)

Notability of Trivia

Cianwood was the first Fighting-type Pokémon Gym where the player received an Official

Pokémon League Badge. If not for losing it's official status, the honor would have gone to Saffron City and their Fighting Gym.

I don't think this is a notable enough trivia, since a similar trivia piece would go on to other articles; e.g., Rock-type for Pewter, Water-type for Cerulean... I tried deleting it but Yami Takashi reverted it with the edit summary:
