:Regardless, the expansion would still take priority of the title for being more significant than the term for the game mechanics introduced within said expansion. It would be wiser and more intuitive to bump the mechanic to "Battle Styles gameplay mechanic" or "Battle Styles mechanic".

Battle Style bumps this page

Yeah, the rulebook hating this wiki continues to be true. If I may:

"Trainer cards and Energy cards can also be tagged as Single Strike, Rapid Strike, or Fusion Strike, and they tend to assist Pokémon of that particular Battle Style. Be on the lookout for ways to combine several different cards of the sameBattle Style to unleash some truly masterful strategies!" -Rulebook Appendix entry

"This expansion introduces an exciting new gameplay mechanic called Battle Styles" - Official site

"A handful of these incredible Pokémon even have Battle Styles, allowing you to seize victory with Rapid Strike or Single Strike Pokémon." Chilling Reign site

"The expansion will debut an exciting new gameplay mechanic called Battle Styles" - Everyone's favorite blog

"The Pokémon Company International today introduced a new type of Battle Styles gameplay mechanic, Fusion Strike Style..." And the press site, just in case

Turns out, the term is capitalized, in precisely the right way to bump this page. (I think this page naming system for TCG pages has a problem.) Salmancer (talk) 23:54, 11 May 2024 (UTC)

Regardless, the expansion would still take priority of the title for being more significant than the term for the game mechanics introduced within said expansion. It would be wiser and more intuitive to bump the mechanic to "Battle Styles gameplay mechanic" or "Battle Styles mechanic" or "Battle Styles (TCG mechanic)" (parallel to Season (game mechanic)).
Also, thank you for the talk page comment! As stated on {{move}}, adding the reasoning on the talk page is extremely important. MaverickNate 02:16, 12 May 2024 (UTC)
