Whats a Outaku? Cerberus

It's a person that loves anime and manga. うずまきハルカ 15:37, 19 December 2007 (UTC)

Ohh, and he is in Anime, Thats good for him. Cerberus

Random comment. This guy looks like a Max/Paul cross to me. --ケンジ ガール 08:58, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

Yes Max + Paul = Him Cerberus 15:34, 29 January 2008 (UTC)

Huh, seems more like a Max/Harley cross to me. But maybe that's just his dub voice speaking.--Pokencyclopedia 03:27, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

Hes creapy like Harley but thats it. Cerberus☆15:48, 3 February 2008 (UTC)

I'm wondering...

Since you said Conway is based off an Otaku, could it be the anime's way of making a character based off all those fans fanboying over Dawn? I mean, he does seem to have an interest in her. --ケンジ ガール 05:02, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

Well if so... what the heck is the shipping? TTEchidna 07:45, 15 August 2008 (UTC)

Recurring?

Does conway count as a supportin/reccuring cast member onthe table? I mean Reggie is.--Davidaipom 10:12, 15 August 2008 (UTC)

Oh rite he's already there.--Davidaipom 10:16, 15 August 2008 (UTC)

Veilstone?

When was that confirmed? --ケンジガール 05:52, 17 August 2008 (UTC)

Question About Kohei

Since Kohei is NOT technically considered a 'character of the day', rather a minor reoccuring character, would it be acceptable to make profiles on his Pokémon? ShinjiLover 06:20, 20 November 2008 (UTC)

As a note to anyone coming here later to ask the same question, only if you can put enough on the page. I think that's the guidline: Being able to put more on that page than you can on this one. The Dark Fiddler - Nos hablamos? 14:27, 3 January 2009 (UTC)
He's not THAT important. He's not a rival or anything like that. I don't think that his Pokémon deserve their articles. --Maxim 14:29, 3 January 2009 (UTC)
I don't even think you could get enough info on them. They were shown even less than most Gym Leader's Pokémon, right? The Dark Fiddler - Nos hablamos? 14:31, 3 January 2009 (UTC)
I think Slowking might be an acceptable canidate as it appeared in three different episodes. I mean, we have Jun's Empoleon and he really didn't do anything yet. --ケンジガール 19:44, 3 January 2009 (UTC)
What about Shinx? It appeared in every episode Angie appeared in. Jmath 21:38, 3 January 2009 (UTC)
Shinx and Slowking did much to define themselves. Empoleon is a bit better but it also might not deserve its article. --FabuVinny |Talk Page| 21:39, 3 January 2009 (UTC)
Then again, should this even be an option? I mean, just because it appears in a few eps doesn't mean much. He's not a major character, or even an important recurring character, like Ritchie... ht14 21:40, 3 January 2009 (UTC)
Only Slowking did enough and how much did it do? A couple eps, a few battles, possible apperance later? Nothing really notable. My vote's no, to both this and Angie's Shinx. Aura-Knight 21:46, 3 January 2009 (UTC)

Rival

Since Conway appeared in the latest opening of the Diamond and Pearl, should he be considered a rival? He appeared to be competing in the Sinnoh League along with Nando, Paul, Barry and as well as Ash. [[[User:Chomi|Chomi]] 17:39, 6 February 2010 (UTC)]

The policy is not until it airs (as in airs in-episode; spoilerific OPs that bring out the gun-jumpers do not count). And what exactly are you trying to do with your signature...? 梅子 18:07, 6 February 2010 (UTC)

Has anyone here ever played...(trivia)

...Conway's Game of Life? It is a 2D cellular automata, where a cell is born if exactly 3 surrounding cells are alive, and a cell survives if 2 or 3 of the surrounding cells are still alive. I am actually a nerd myself, and I keep a copy of GOLLY (a CGoL simulator) on my flash drive. This could be a possible English name origin. - unsigned comment from TruePikachu (talkcontribs) (EDIT: forgot sig)

Probably too obscure to be his name origin, to be honest. :/ --ZestyCactus 05:26, 11 May 2010 (UTC)
To normal people, all this technical stuff is 'too obscure'. However, once I saw his name, I immediately made the connection. - unsigned comment from TruePikachu (talkcontribs)

Slowking

Now that he is considered a rival should his Slowking get it's own page? Lanturn....05308 11:28, 4 July 2010 (UTC)

Judging by what we have on Slowking's box at the moment: no. —darklordtrom 06:13, 5 July 2010 (UTC)

Using Confusion to redirect attacks

In the history section it says that Conway uses confusion to redirect attacks but Conway does not have a pokemon that knows confusion. His slowking does use psychic to stop attacks so I think that should be changed. I'm just wondering should I change it.RBK 00:22, 9 July 2010 (UTC) I changed it to psychic but if anybody think im wrong feel free to change it back.RBK 01:30, 9 July 2010 (UTC)

Main Pokemon

Should we still say that Slowking is Conway's main Pokemon? It hasn't appeared at all in the Suzuran Conference arc.--Burgundy 07:27, 25 July 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, I agree. it should be removed. Just because it was his first Pokémon to appear, doesn't mean that it's his main one. たかはり 07:31, 25 July 2010 (UTC)
Need I remind you that all of Conway's other Pokémon appeared once. Slowking appeared multiple times. So yes. It is his main Pokémon. Suzuran Conference or not. --ケンジガール 07:34, 25 July 2010 (UTC)
Oh yeah, I forgot that it appeared in the Summer School Academy. Never mind =P たかはり 07:41, 25 July 2010 (UTC)

Trivia

Is it worth noting that every time Conway has appeared, it is in an arc of episodes? (Tag Battle Competition Arc, Summer School Arc, and Suzuran Conference Arc) --Burgundy 07:39, 25 July 2010 (UTC)

Interesting point. I say yes. たかはり 07:41, 25 July 2010 (UTC)

Badges

I think it's kind of pointless to put that Conway has 8 badges, since that was never shown. What happened to the rule to "wait to be displayed in the anime"???--Hikaru Wazana 07:39, 25 July 2010 (UTC)

He competed in the Sinnoh League, therefore he must have at least 8 badges. ZeroLinkYoshi (talk) 12:57, 31 January 2014 (UTC)

Crush?

The article said that during the summer school arc that he showed an attraction toward Dawn... I don't remember seeing this can sombody point this out in an episode or something? MiloticFan73 17:39, 4 July 2011 (UTC)

Read HeatTagShipping.--Den Zen 17:42, 4 July 2011 (UTC)

Move trivia

* Every one of his Pokémon, other than Slowking and Aggron, has used an attack that had not previously been seen in the anime: Heracross used both Revenge and Feint, Shuckle used Power Trick, Lickilicky used Power Whip, and Dusknoir used Trick Room.-What is the reasoning for taking this away? It is good trivia? Diamond Lanturn CodeName: 05308 10:24, 9 July 2011 (UTC)

Because it isn't true. Look a few edits down and you'll notice that a Tangrowth that was previously thought to have used Poison Jab was actually using Power Whip. Ataro 10:27, 9 July 2011 (UTC)
I see, thank you Diamond Lanturn CodeName: 05308 10:28, 9 July 2011 (UTC)

his heracross is male

not only does it have that particular horn, but also, his heracross first appeared in the diamond and pearl series,so we can use gender differences as proof for any of conway's pokemon with gender differences.Pikachu210 (talk) 04:16, 13 November 2018 (UTC)

As I said on Ash's Heracross talk page, until a female variant appears in the anime, Conway's Heracross's gender is unknown. The anime writers could decide that Heracross doesn't have a gender difference, and they have shown plenty of times that they don't have to follow the games/--ForceFire 05:38, 13 November 2018 (UTC)
