Remove critical rate

Critical rate shouldn't be listed in this template. The data's been there since the first version, but never been implemented- in fact, new moves don't even have crit data anymore. Also, this should be updated to allow for Trainer Battle stats. TehPerson (talk) 21:52, 15 January 2019 (UTC)

Proposed Update

Due to this template being very outdated, I created a new version of this template that includes Trainer Battle info, and no longer includes unused fields like crit rate and drain. It can also be combined with the Fast Attack version of this template as well. The template is at User:TehPerson/GoAttack.

And in case anyone is wondering, I used the term "ΔEnergy" since the GAME_MASTER calls the variable "energy_delta" for both Fast and Charged Attacks. (Fast Attacks have positive energy_deltas, and Charged Attacks have negative).

Nice work! Just a couple of things: I think the delta sign will just cause more confusion than be of help as not everyone will understand what the symbol stands for. I think having the negative sign for Charged Attacks is sufficient. Also, just be wary about using the term 'Legacy' because to my understanding I don't think it's a term used officially. 'Previously eligible Pokémon' might suffice. --Wowy(토크) 05:11, 12 February 2019 (UTC)
While not official, "Legacy" is basically a widely used term by players, similar to Effort Values or Shinies, originally. As for Delta, I can maybe have it switch between Energy cost/boost depending on how the "charged" field is checked. TehPerson (talk) 06:43, 12 February 2019 (UTC)

Made an update to the template to allow for displaying stat boosts (omitted if not used):

I've been pushing for this to be approved (as well as your other one), however one thing mentioned was we'd prefer to keep the two templates separated, mostly because otherwise it'd introduce unnecessary parsers onto the page that already heavy use. I'd also query whether it would be good to have another box at the bottom that could be a plain text entry field for Version changes, just so they aren't kinda just hanging at the bottom of the section, akin to how our Pokewiki partners handle it. --Spriteit (talk) 00:33, 2 March 2019 (UTC)
