Release information

This card was included as a Regular card, a Secret Rainbow Rare, and a Special Full Art card in the Battle Styles expansion, first released in the Japanese Single Strike Master expansion. The Regular and Rainbow Rare prints feature artwork by PLANETA Tsuji, while the Special Full Art print features artwork by Kinu Nishimura. In Japan, the Regular print was reprinted, alongside a Full Art print with artwork by kodama and an entirely gold Full Art Secret print with artwork by PLANETA Tsuji, in the VMAX Climax subset. The two new Full Art prints were later included in the Brilliant Stars expansion. The Regular Battle Styles print was also included in the Single Strike Urshifu VMAX Premium Collection, released on November 12, 2021, alongside an oversized version of the card.

Origin

This card features Gigantamax Single Strike Style Urshifu. Beatdown's Japanese name is Oi-zuki, a technique in Karate which means to punch with the lead arm. This attack first appeared on Light Machamp from Neo Destiny. G-Max One Blow is a G-Max Move in the Pokémon games that Gigantamax Single Strike Style Urshifu can use. Gloria is featured in the Brilliant Stars Trainer Gallery Full Art print's illustration and is depicted wearing her Isle of Armor attire.
