Release information

In Japan, this card was released as one of the S-P Promotional cards, given to customers visiting any Pokémon Center and Pokémon Store in celebration of the opening of Pokémon Center Shibuya on November 22, 2019.^[1] The Pokémon Center Shibuya logo is also present on the card.

New Open is a reference to the opening of Pokémon Center Shibuya. Thunder is a move in the Pokémon games that Pikachu can learn. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Sword.
