Release information

This card was included in the Pokémon GO expansion with artwork by Narumi Sato, first released in the Japanese subset of the same name. An etched Full Art S-P Promotional print with artwork by You Iribi was later available in the Japanese Precious Collector Box: Sword & Shield, which could be reserved from the Pokémon Center Online as part of a make to order run between May 10 and 25, 2022. A second reservation period was open between June 2 and 6, 2022.[1] Orders from the first reservation period began shipping to customers in late November 2022; orders from the second began shipping in late December 2022. This print was subsequently included as a Secret card in the special Crown Zenith expansion outside Asia.

Origin

Wild Charge is a move in the Pokémon games that Pikachu can learn via TR. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Sword. The Pokémon GO print's illustration depicts Pikachu wearing a Pokémon TCG hat, which players could encounter during the Pokémon TCG Crossover Event in the mobile title. The Crown Zenith print's illustration features Pokémon from popular Standard format cards, particularly from the first two years of the Sword & Shield Series.
