Release information
This tag was available as part of the Triple Dragon Campaign, during which three different tags were given away to people visiting participating stores with a Pokémon Mezastar machine on different weekends in May 2021. Kyurem was given away on the weekend of May 29 and 30; the giveaway was limited to children in elementary school and below on the first day and open to all ages on the second. The premise of the campaign was to give new players tags featuring Pokémon with a type advantage over Eternatus, one of the focal Pokémon of the fourth set.[1] It was subsequently given away to people visiting the Namco Lazona Kawasaki store at Lazona Kawasaki Plaza, Kawasaki, Kanagawa on the weekend of April 30 and May 1, 2022. The venue hosted Trainer Tag Battle with Two People events under the banner "Mezastudio Kawasaki: The 1st Battle" throughout the weekend.[2]
The tag was available again at the Amusement Expo in Tokyo Big Sight on November 25, 2023. People visiting the Mezastar Corner could try Get in Battle Free Trial mode and a Trainer Tag Battle with Two People Free Trial on a first come, first served basis. Those who participated in the latter trial were given a copy of this tag. The machines in operation for each trial ran Double Chain set 5. People could also obtain Stage Viewing Tickets for performances by the Mezastar Navigators; a copy of this tag could be obtained by exchanging a ticket with attendants after a performance. Visitors were also given a free Sprigatito tag for as long as stocks lasted. All giveaways were limited to one per person.[3]
