Goh's Misdreavus (Japanese: ゴウのムウマ Go's Muma) is the third Pokémon that Goh caught in the Johto region, and his twenty-second overall.

Misdreavus and Sandile

History

In Finding a Legend!, Goh first encountered Misdreavus whilst climbing up the Bell Tower, where it along with Stantler attacked Goh, Ash, Chad, and Jaye, trapping them in a series of illusions. Misdreavus was eventually caught when the illusions were dispelled by Jaye's Hoothoot's Foresight.

During a food shortage in Panic in the Park!, it and Sandile tried tricking the other Pokémon into giving up their food. When a group led by Scyther came looking for a fight, Misdreavus and Sandile immediately joined their side. It later helped protect Goh's three Cascoon from a flood created when Goh's Golurk went berserk, thus allowing them to evolve into Dustox.

In Leaping Toward the Dream!, Goh used Misdreavus to find an Alolan Ninetales as part of his quest for Project Mew.

In This Could be the Start of Something Big!, Misdreavus attended a surprise party hosted by the Lab members commemorating Goh and Ash's departure.

Personality and characteristics

Misdreavus likes causing pranks. For example, in Finding a Legend!, it and Stantler created illusions to try and stop Goh, Ash, Chad, and Jaye from climbing the Bell Tower. Misdreavus is also clever and manipulative, as seen in Panic in the Park!, when it teamed up with Sandile to appear strong to the other Pokémon so they could trick them into giving up their own food. However, Misdreavus is quick to change sides, like when a group of Pokémon led by Scyther came looking for a fight.
