Hayley's trades

Whenever the player brings in one of the "Wanted Pokémon" in the game My Pokémon Ranch, Hayley will offer to trade one of her Pokémon for it, and the Pokémon received will be one of the following twenty which know a TM move, Egg Move, or have something else that makes them unique. Although Hayley can bring almost any type of Pokémon to the ranch on any given day, only the Pokémon listed here will be offered. If Hayley brings multiple of these species on separate days or to celebrate the Ranch levelling up, only the first member of each species she brings per save file will ever be offered for trade.

Hayley will not offer to trade one of her Pokémon even if there is an eligible Pokémon to trade if the Wanted Pokémon is a species that evolves via trade. She will also only offer one trade each time a DS connects, regardless of how many Wanted Pokémon requests are fulfilled in one deposit.

Hayley's traded Pokémon are in the language of the game, have the OT Hayley (English), ユカリ (Japanese), EULALIE (French), EUKALIA (Germany), GIULIA (Italian), EULALIA (Spanish) and the Trainer ID number 01000. They have predetermined Nature (except for the two Mythical Pokémon), gender, and Ability and they cannot be Shiny.

Normal Pokémon

Hayley will only trade if she has already brought one of the above Pokémon into the ranch. To get one of those Pokémon, the player can repeatedly answer "no" when she asks about the Pokémon she should bring the next day. Eventually she will say she will bring a Pokémon that she's interested in, and it will be one of these Pokémon below.

Special Pokémon

These two Pokémon are only available once certain requirements are filled.

Once 250 Pokémon are present on the ranch, it will expand and jump to a new level. When this level is obtained, Hayley will add a new Pokémon to the "Wanted" board, Leafeon. When Leafeon is brought to the ranch, she will offer to trade her Phione for it.

When 999 Pokémon are present, the ranch will expand and jump to level 25, the maximum level. Once this level is obtained, a new wanted Pokémon will be added. Hayley is now asking for any Pokémon Egg. When the Egg is brought, she will offer to trade her Mew for it.

This Octillery could be obtained by trading a Zigzagoon from May 13 to 26, 2008. Its original Trainer, ごるこ Golko is the feminine form of name of one of the Pokémon Sunday hosts, Golgo Matsumoto. A similar Octillery previously was made available at Pokémon Center stores.

Trivia

• Hayley can trade Pokémon that are not in the Sinnoh Pokédex before the player obtains the National Pokédex.
• Hayley's Shroomish is caught in a Safari Ball and knows False Swipe, despite Shroomish only learning False Swipe through breeding in Generation IV and eggs hatched prior to Generation VI always come in a standard Poké Ball.
• Hayley's Phione and Mew are the only ones available in a Cherish Ball, and the only ones available in a ball that is not the regular Poké Ball or a Safari Ball outside of the Japanese-exclusive event Pokémon.
  • Trading with Hayley is also the only way to obtain Phione in a Cherish Ball.
• Hayley's Tangela is met at Level 1 due to the fact that Tangela is not encounterable in Diamond and Pearl, and must be hatched from an Egg after transferring another Tangela or Tangrowth.
• When showing her Phione and Mew to the player when brought to the Ranch or before a trade, they will have a pink and silver sparkle effect. This effect only appears around them during this time.
• When showing a Pokémon that has a met location other than "Lovely place", Hayley will say "a Pokémon I caught" and list its met location. When introducing a Pokémon that has "Lovely place" as its met location she will instead say "a Pokémon you can catch around" and list a location that Pokémon appears if it can be found in Diamond and Pearl.
