By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

The Preview Button

Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Changes button... Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Thanks! --Chalkwriter 17:59, 18 March 2012 (UTC)

Moves in Portuguese

Hi, and thank you for your help in the Other languages section of the moves. However, I've seen some of your edits and I've been wondering, how do you know European Portuguese doesn't use the same move names than yours? If Brazil and Portugal have the same move names, please consider using the pt parameter instead. Some of them seem to be different, yes; but you don't have to replace them with the Brazilian Portuguese. You can just add the Brazilian Portuguese instead and rename the pt parameter to pt_eu, so we have two versions. Thank you, and I hope you take into account this advice I'm giving you. Would you also mind providing an official source (like a guidebook) with the names you're adding? I've noticed that you also added Portuguese names for sixth generation moves when there are no official Portuguese games. Moves like Mystical Fire and Spiky Shield aren't even used in the anime at the time you added the names, so I highly doubt you got it from there. --超龍Chao 01:43, 29 April 2014 (UTC)
Hey, I noticed you started adding Brazilian Portuguese names for moves again. Where are you getting these names from? Are you translating them yourself? Please respond before adding any more Portuguese names. --SnorlaxMonster 05:16, 24 May 2015 (UTC)
It's been six years, but the above messages still apply. Please do not add Portuguese names unless you specify where they come from. We only want official names, so you must make sure to only add Portuguese names from official sources. If you continue to add Portuguese names without responding here, you will be blocked. --SnorlaxMonster 02:35, 21 March 2021 (UTC)
