Hi ElectAbuzzz, could you possibly delete User:Silver Eevee/Template:User Watches Horse Racing? I was using it as a test, and I no longer need it. Thanks Silver Eevee talk? contribs! 09:22, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

Your edits

AIM says you're offline, even though I can see you're not, so I can't send messages. I like the improvements you made to the new welcome box. The top line, about the BP:Welcome page, is still bugging me though...any ideas? -- evkl (need to talk?) 14:11, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

its ok u can delete the page about R.O.B im new at this so can u teach me please - unsigned comment from Arceus99 (talkcontribs)

You can unprotect the page. I will not revert the edit again. I say this grudgingly and unwillingly, with only the promise of being blocked should I do anything of the sort again preventing me from doing anything of the sort again, true, but I will still not revert the edit. Missingno. Master wants YOU! Join the Order of the Glitch! (my talk page) 20:59, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

Why did you erase some pages? I worked really long on that Legendary Golem page and now have you deleted it?! I saw that it did'nt meet notability requirements, but you could change it so that it would meet that requirements? It was my first page too so I was very proud of it. I thought it was a good page...--MeDeoPal 21:15, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

Uh, it's not that the page didn't meet requirements. The subject of the page didn't meet requirements. The Regi trio from the movie simply weren't notable to warrant their own article. Missingno. Master wants YOU! Join the Order of the Glitch! (my talk page) 21:22, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
OK, first - please don't take it personally. I mean that. There was nothing wrong with the article itself. For a first creation, it was good. However, we have a notability policy for these things, and if you read it, you'll see why that article wasn't enough. You have to understand that there's a history behind that policy and there are reasons why it exists. We prefer to make existing articles better and longer and fill them with real content, rather than create many stubs. So, the information from that article wasn't lost - I copied the text to the respective Regis pages (see the anime sections of Regirock, Regice, and Registeel). Don't worry, you'll have other articles... --electAbuzzzz 21:28, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
I now understand, thank you.--MeDeoPal 21:31, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

See here. I'd prefer not to write it out so many times. You can reply here though. ht14 21:26, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

Any particular reason you got rid of the used moves templates on the List of Shiny Pokémon in the anime? Missingno. Master wants YOU! Join the Order of the Glitch! (my talk page) 00:09, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

Yes, a very particular reason: it looked awful like that. The {{trainerpkmn}} template was meant to be used in a row, not cut by section headers and other stuff. For Ash's Noctowl and the Red Gyarados, there's a main article; no reason to list the moves again. For Magikarp, it was completely pointless to have that template list one move (Splash. Gee, really?), using the same picture as JUST above it. All in all, it was pointless and ugly. --electAbuzzzz 00:16, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
Oh. I guess I shouldn't have re-added it before checking for your response. But still, there should be something that can be done... I think it just makes sense to have the moves listed on the page for each Pokémon. And still, there could be another way to list the shinies that appeared in the anime without that particular template, right? Missingno. Master wants YOU! Join the Order of the Glitch! (my talk page) 00:21, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
Yes. There could be. The way it used to be before you created that page. And yes, you shoul've waited for my response. That's the whole point of using talk pages. MM, seriously, you're on a tight rope with me. Stop reverting admins just because you disagree with them. Next time you revert a staff member without approval, you WILL be blocked. --electAbuzzzz 00:24, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
I actually meant in a way that would accommodate the move templates. And besides, the way it was, there was no biographical information on the shinies, which was one of the main reasons why I created the page. I was only trying to improve this place. And I'm sorry about the whole reverting-staff-members thing. I admit I do have a thing about admitting when I'm wrong. I still think there should be a way to neatly list the shinies on that page, plus biographical information, and moves. I think using the standard infoboxes would make the page too large, but the move templates wouldn't work with the current template... Missingno. Master wants YOU! Join the Order of the Glitch! (my talk page) 02:20, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
Just list the moves inside the template, in a sentence. But DON'T do it for Noctowl, Gyarados and Swellow. They already HAVE main articles linked from there. Re-listing their moves is pointless. --electAbuzzzz 07:43, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

Glitch "cleanup"

You probably knew this was coming. I think I need hardly say that your blatant Glitch Vandalism is making me furious. Of course, given our past dealings, plus what you said repeatedly in the edit summaries, I'm not gonna revert your edits. I will merely say that it is the efforts of people like you that make the Order of the Glitch's goals that much harder to attain. Remember that we strive to make everyone realize the equality that ought exist between Glitch Pokémon and "official" Pokémon. LM4 can be used in battle just as well as any Poliwrath. It is perfectly logical to throw a Master Ball at an 'M. Missingno. has a Pokédex entry. Again, I will not revert you; rather, I will leave it entirely up to you or anyone who might equal or surpass you in authority to revert those abominations you call cleanups, but do know that your efforts will most definitely not win you the Golden Missingno. Award*. This is not meant to start an argument, or even a discussion, just a note from me to you expressing my displeasure on the matter. On the contrary, I know perfectly well that starting an argument or heated discussion with an authority figure is almost never a good idea. I mean no disrespect by this whatsoever. Missingno. Master wants YOU! Join the Order of the Glitch! (my talk page) 17:34, 15 August 2009 (UTC)

*sigh*... MM, I don't know what I can do to get you to understand this... Glitch Pokémon are part of the games. They's playable. They're trainable. They're part of the fandom. They're notable for their own articles. BUT THEY ARE NOT REAL POKÉMON. They do not live anywhere. Listing a habitat to program errors is un-encyclopediac. As for the fact that I'm hurting the goals of the Order of the Glitch, and that I won't recieve the Golden Missingno, well... Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn. --electAbuzzzz 17:49, 15 August 2009 (UTC)

Sure. Everything you, as a beginner, need to know - is linked from that lovely green welcome box on the top of your talk page. One of those links, as you'll notice, leads to our Welcome Portal. Read it, go over the links. We have many policies here that you are required to follow. After that, if you still have specific questions, I'll be happy to answer them for you. Enjoy editing, and welcome to Bulbapedia. --electAbuzzzz 18:42, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

Why exactly does Doomfire598 have two accounts? ---- R.A. Hunter Blade 22:41, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

He probably realized he had a typo in the original account. I blocked one of them. --electAbuzzzz 22:49, 23 August 2009 (UTC)
Alright. Because the only difference I saw was the number. R.A. Hunter Blade 00:06, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

Userspace policy

You were the one who gave me the warning, so I think I should go to you for this.

Almost two months ago, you warned me that I was editing my userpage too often. And I eventually lost my userpage edit priviliges. But that is two months ago, and I have changed my ways. Since I got blocked, I made close to 50 mainspace edits and intend to make many more since I appear to be the only person on the entirety of Bulbapedia who knows how to speak Dutch, so the task of adding the Dutch episode titles/attack names comes upon me. Now, I don't know how many mainspace edits I'm supposed to make, but I feel my userpage priviliges should be returned. Dilophosaurus Rex 11:25, 25 August 2009 (UTC)

Re: Music

Thank you so much! :D I'll think about it, since I do not know if I have footage for other songs (mainly the older ones). I'll give you a shout if I became ready! ;) -- RikkiKitsune 22:15, 30 August 2009 (UTC)

Uhh, I have a question. Why did you move "High Touch! 2009 / Get Fired up, Notched-ear Pichu!" to "High Touch! 2009 (CD)" since (I suppose) it is the actual name of it? -- RikkiKitsune 23:17, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
Think I understood. So, it is the same case of High Touch! (CD), I suppose. But in this we can clearly read "High Touch! / Ashita wa Kitto" in its cover. Isn't better to move it? Its title will not become so big, also. -- RikkiKitsune 23:26, 30 August 2009 (UTC)

cross cannon counterparts image

I was under the impression that Paul was the anami counterpart for silver so I will correct that. The Soul- Kris thing was a guess based on the rest as they change it looked most likely they are the same person. And as for the remake of Gold being called Heart it followed the same lines of Red-Fire and Blue-Leaf. Blue was the name of a female character to be programmed into red green and blue but removed and shares the same concept art as the lass trainer from which blue from the special manga is based. Gary will be spelt correctly. Kingofall42 11:52, 31 August 2009 (UTC)

you need to add a bit more

{{stub|Music|Song}} and {{stub|Music|CD}} MaverickNate 15:47, 2 September 2009 (UTC)

Ah, I didn't realize you coded those as well. I'm not that sure I need those categories, though... It's all the same at the end of the day. You disagree? --electAbuzzzz 15:51, 2 September 2009 (UTC)
I wa just thinking that it would be easier to separate the different see what people would like to improve more than the rest. Both song and CD puts them into three categories, regular stub, music, and song/CD. I thought having more specific categories would be helpful. MaverickNate 16:01, 2 September 2009 (UTC)

Do you by any chance know how to work the new party templates for Pokémon such as Gen. III? The template calls for identifying moves as Physical or Special if it's only for one Pokémon at a time, such as Maylene's Lucario. Not all of the moves in Gen. III were the same category as now, so should I just add what they are now, or try to find a way to get around it? I'm trying to get Team Meanies updated, and the abilities are also giving me crap, because Ekans has both abilities in PMD. This is the template without the move cats:

Spr 3r 094.png
Ghost Poison
Held item:
Gengar Lv.15

And this is Ekans' template with both abilities:

Spr 3r 023.png
Unknown Unknown
Shed Skin or Intimidate
Held item:
Ekans Lv.15
Poison Sting

I can't figure a way to fit both on there, so I might have to put a note under it that says he has both because it's in PMD. R.A. Hunter Blade 17:08, 5 September 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, you just need to change the "gen" parameter from 4 to 3, like I just did here. Same goes for 2 (no ability) and 1 (no item and gender). And you can't use two abilities. Just leave it blank, it's a special case. --electAbuzzzz 17:12, 5 September 2009 (UTC)
Alright. That fixes one problem. I'll just put a note at the bottom of Ekans' thing that says he has both Intimidate and Shed Skin. Thanks. R.A. Hunter Blade 17:15, 5 September 2009 (UTC)

Pokémon in Finland

You see, I was writing that article while you updated the Project Globe page :p What should be done to it, since it didn't have your approval in the first place? UltimateSephiroth (about me · chat · edits) 15:19, 8 September 2009 (UTC)

It's fine. Just work on it and make it bigger. I'm gonna resize the flag, I want them all to be 100 pixels wide (the reason I'm not changing the infobox to fit that size is for articles that will have multiple flags, like Latin America). --electAbuzzzz 15:40, 8 September 2009 (UTC)
Okay, no problem about the flag :p I'll try to improve the article as much as I can; as you can imagine, finding accurate information about these kinds of less spoken languages isn't always easy :p UltimateSephiroth (about me · chat · edits) 16:06, 8 September 2009 (UTC)
Yes, I know, I had the same problem here with Hebrew. What I did, at first, was e-mail a voice actress and ask her... She showed me a forum of the local dubbing community, so I signed up to that forum and posted a message. They've been great help... Maybe you can access some local VAs yourself to find your info. --electAbuzzzz 16:10, 8 September 2009 (UTC)

The Colosseum parser for Electrode has something wrong... there should be no colored background... help? ht14 15:57, 8 September 2009 (UTC)

I'm not entirely sure what you're refering to. Link me to the image. --electAbuzzzz 16:02, 8 September 2009 (UTC)
It's not an image, rather it's in the game locations section. ht14 16:03, 8 September 2009 (UTC)
Fixed. If a Pokémon is trade only, there should be no location parameter filled out. It defaults to trade, and only when defaulted will it reverse color. - Kogoro | Talk to me - 16:06, 8 September 2009 (UTC)

I've place like 33 more (hidden) countries in that new Navigation template of yours. I know that they aren't on your project list but they're hidden anyway. I thought that if someone made a good article on one of those, why not? Hope you don't mind. They're from the WC sites btw, meaning they have the Pokémon in them. tc²₆tc26 10:01, 9 September 2009 (UTC)

GAH! I mind very much, actually. I made that list in the project page especially to prevent someone from doing this. We don't need separated articles for Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, and Mexico. They all get the same games and the same dub. We don't need separated articles for every English-speaking countries. We have not yet decided whether we should create an article for Japan. I created that list based on what countries get individual games translations or anime dubs. No articles in that project are to be created without approval if they are not on the project page list. --electAbuzzzz 13:04, 9 September 2009 (UTC)

Need to ask something

Right now I am finishing up adding the TM details to the Gym Leaders page and since Misty's page is protected could you handle that for me since all it needs is an update with the Water Pulse TM details, but after I handled a similar thing on Lt. Surge's page I can predict the best way to handle it. -Tyler53841 18:24, 15 September 2009 (UTC)

Done. If there are any others, let me know. --electAbuzzzz 18:27, 15 September 2009 (UTC)
Nope, there is nothing left, I finished off Clair which was my last one and like all the others I previewed and checked the links before submitting and there is also the fact that Morty, Jasmine, and Whitney have the same TM's as the original so there is no point updating them. But my new question on Misty's page is that should it be listed twice, which why I brought up Lt. Surge since I created a work around for that problem of having the same TM in two remakes. -Tyler53841 18:33, 15 September 2009 (UTC)

Latin America

Has this made it to mainspace-worthiness yet? Thought I'd check with you first this time. ZestyCactus 02:22, 28 September 2009 (UTC)

In my opinion* it's a bit too stubby you have forgetten some countries trust me. --☆Coolピカチュウ! 02:46, 28 September 2009 (UTC)
You're on the right way this time, but CP is right here. Two things I would suggest you do: first, take the information from these articles and merge it into your page, similar to what I did with the other countries. Then, find out EXACTLY (and I do mean EXACTLY) which countries get the Latin American Spanish dub. It has to be listed. As for the flags - let me take care of it. Once you figure out what countries are involved, I'll upload an image of all flags (the infobox can be adjusted to multiple countries, I'll take care of it. Also, Zesty, I apologize if I was too harsh on you about the Mexico article. I was just annoyed because I thought it was clear that those articles shouldn't be created. --electAbuzzzz 19:41, 28 September 2009 (UTC)
No worries, man, I try not to take stuff too personally. :P And I ddddid merge all the main characters' voice actors into the article, but I can also merge in the minor characters (like Marble and Koga) in too if you think the information should be there. I'll work on figuring out which other countries get the dub, too. Thanks for the help! ZestyCactus 19:57, 28 September 2009 (UTC)
I meant not in a table. Take a look at the articles on Israel, Italy, and Portugal. See the paragraphs on the dubbing cast? That's what I want. And don't link to the VA articles - those articles will get redirected once we mainspace your article. --electAbuzzzz 20:03, 28 September 2009 (UTC)
Gotcha. ZestyCactus 20:31, 28 September 2009 (UTC)
Alright. I added everybody from "Category:Spanish voice actors (Latin America)" and from the list of international VAs. Anything left you think that I should add? ZestyCactus 22:18, 28 September 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, it's good enough. I'll mainspace it. --electAbuzzzz 22:23, 28 September 2009 (UTC)

2.B.A. Master

Should I redo all of the lyrics for the song (and the album too), or should I keep them how they are? I have the actual lyrics from the CD thing, but I needed to know if you want it how it is. Meaning, if you wanted to keep all of the commas and stuff, or make it like:

I got 2 B the one the only one who can
Withstand the test n' B the best n'

Because those are the lyrics straight from the booklet thing.R.A. Hunter Blade 22:28, 9 October 2009 (UTC)

Well, commas and stuff don't really bother me, but you could change it to the booklet if you want. If there are actualy lyrical errors in our version, then yes, absolutely change it and write in your edit summary that it's the official booklet lyrics. Make sure you use <ab> and not <br>, though. --electAbuzzzz 10:44, 10 October 2009 (UTC)
Alright. And one more thing is that we have what they say in the background, such as "Whoo!" or "Yeah!" and things like that for some songs, but they aren't in the booklet. I'm assuming I should keep those, because those are what's actually sung. R.A. Hunter Blade 16:03, 10 October 2009 (UTC)
Nevermind. I'd have to take out about half of most of the songs to get it like the booklet. I'll keep it how it is. R.A. Hunter Blade 16:55, 10 October 2009 (UTC)

Arab world

Hi ElectAbuzzz, I think you are the leader of Project Globe, aren't you? I'm now writing an article about: Pokémon in the Arab world, I hope you see it, and tell me if there is something wrong about it.Best Regards Pokémon Master 12:28, 17 October 2009 (UTC)

Hi, according to Wikipedia, Pokémon is aired in MBC, Spacetoon, TRT and New TV. These channels are airing in all Arab countries. In addition, There are some Arabic episodes in YouTube, you can find it and check it. Thank you for helping me :) Pokémon Master 12:58, 17 October 2009 (UTC)
TRT doesn't mean Turkish station, but it means Tunisian Radio & Television. This channel -and the other channels- broadcast in all Arab countries, but I don't know if these channels are broadcasting in Iran and Chad or not, because Iran and Chad are NOT Arab countries. I can get information about the dubbing cast, but maybe I will be late, because I'm busy these days. I have dual citizenship: Saudi and Lebanese, but now I live in Saudi Arabia. Thank you again for helping me, glad to work with you. Pokémon Master 15:52, 17 October 2009 (UTC)
Thank you so much friend for helping me :) I'll add a lot of information in that article later. I've noticed already that you are Israeli :D For me, I don't care about that. Always I hope that all people can live in peace without any racism or discrimination. Thank you again for adding the logo and information in that article. Best regards. Pokémon Master 16:32, 17 October 2009 (UTC)

Thank you so much :) but I have a small problem with section "Super M Productions", because I don't know who are the actors exactly!! Anyway, I'm now looking for the names of the actors, and I'll add some information about the Pokémon merchandise in the Arab world. Thank you again Pokémon Master 08:44, 19 October 2009 (UTC)

Perhaps you can update this. Porygon-Z 15:43, 17 October 2009 (UTC)

Sure, but it would help if you told me with what ^^; have you been appointed leader? Of what project? Who appointed you? --electAbuzzzz 15:46, 17 October 2009 (UTC)
Well I've been the leader of Project TV since it started. But that's not the only reason why I'm mentioning it. It looks like there are quite a few projects not listed there. Porygon-Z 15:56, 17 October 2009 (UTC)
Oh, well, the projects not listed simply don't have leaders currently. You see, founder and leader are not always the same. Now, while I'm 100% sure everyone will agree to officially make you TV project leader, it's only a technicality that an EB member has to approve first, and I'm not on the EB quite yet ;) I had to ask to be appointed leader of both my projects, even though I founded them. Talk to Deth or someone (if I'll catch him on AIM before you talk to him, I'll ask him myself). --electAbuzzzz 16:03, 17 October 2009 (UTC)
Ok, thanks for the help. I figured leader=founder. I talk to Deth pretty much every day so I'll talk to him about it later. Porygon-Z 16:06, 17 October 2009 (UTC)

He's by all means notable. He even cameoed in 10th Movie. He was major in Movie 6. Certainly more major than most of COTDs that we do have articles for. --Maxim 20:55, 17 October 2009 (UTC)

Perhaps I'm mistaken then about who he is. Refresh my memory please, since he's not even on the movie summary. --electAbuzzzz 20:57, 17 October 2009 (UTC)
The guy who sold Jirachi cocoon to May. He dresses like Native American. --Maxim 20:58, 17 October 2009 (UTC)
...Jirachi...cocoon? The Native American guy sold May the wish locket thing. -Sketch 21:03, 17 October 2009 (UTC)
True. Jirachi's coccoon belonged to Butler. It was actually my least favourite movie. I watched it only once or twice. I don't remember everything. Yep, he sold her that wish thingy. Nevertheless, he was thousand times more notable than Trainer (EP248) and many other characters that we have articles on and got some screentime, appearing in TWO movies. I think he's by all means notable. --Maxim 11:49, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
You know what? While I can't speak for everyone, fine, I wouldn't mind if you created a good page about him (although I think we don't need it, or that trainer from EP248 for that matter). Here's what we've got so far. Anything else you think should be added? I can't find out for the life of me which company dubbed the French version, btw. D: ZestyCactus 03:21, 19 October 2009 (UTC)

That's good enough, I mainspaced. But, the TV stations would have to be merged into that article. At the very least, Teletoon. --electAbuzzzz 08:23, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
There's a lot of stuff in the YTV article, might be worth keeping for now, but Télétoon is mostly stuff that's already in the article anyways so you can delete it if you think it's unneccessary. ZestyCactus 17:13, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
Right, I totally merged both. :D ZestyCactus 22:17, 19 October 2009 (UTC)

Dawn (anime)

I know it might be a little late mentioning this, but can you delete "Dawn (anime)" and remove the recent vandalism revision? If you saw it, you would know why. A similar event happened with the "May (anime)" page before, and Trom took care of that one, so I'm assuming that would be the logical action. Thanks! --rockersk08 20:39, 19 October 2009 (UTC)

Okay, now I'm mad. And you know what happens when the Hiroshiman gets mad? No, he doesn't Karate Slice you. He asks you why you actually deleted the only page I can edit! So, why?! Just tell me, and I'll go back to not hating you. Well, I don't hate you, I hate this thing where a Pokemon that appeared basically in three things total and there shouldn't be a page for it. Now do not start a fight, I just want to talk long and about something that is against my policy. And it is a secret policy, my fellowships policy, and you cannot hear it. It's a secret. MistahSandshrew

...What do you mean, "only page you can edit"? If you're referring to the protections on the Pokémon articles, that's probably going to go away sometime next month. You can edit pretty much every other page on the wiki in the meantime. With regards to AJ's Sandshrew, Look at number 7. "Pokémon that belong to characters of the day are never notable for their own article. However, in rare instances, an exception may be made if the Pokémon itself was a character of the day." A.J. was a CoD, but his Sandshrew wasn't. Therefore, it isn't notable enough for its own article.--Liquid ICE (User:Cold)(page, talk) 22:27, 21 October 2009 (UTC)
[conflicted, thx cold] The problem is that fails to meet our unsecret policies, particularly the Manual of style and the Anime Pokémon notability requirements. Item number seven on this list states "Pokémon that belong to characters of the day are never notable for their own article." A.J. is a character of the day, so the Sandshrew doesn't cut it, even though it's appeared in three things (really just two things: Yellow and anime). These appearances are actually quite small, and the Sandshrew didn't really do much in either appearance. It's better for the whole of Bulbapedia to have the information in one place: this article. —darklordtrom 22:29, 21 October 2009 (UTC)

Concering Laxes...

What's your stance on the notability of Diamond's Munchlax, a Pokémon in which Chuang Yi reused the nickname "Lax" for? The fact that the nickname was used for two different Pokémon is the primary reason Diamond's Munchlax doesn't already have an article that could potentially fail a notability review, since "Lax (Special)" was already used for Red's Snorlax...

(However, I do request that you not rush judgment. Try to factor Pearl's Chatot and Platinum's Rapidash into the equation as well--if they are judged to fail, then Diamond's Munchlax would also have around the same odds of failing as well.) --Shiningpikablu252 17:23, 22 October 2009 (UTC)

To be honest, I have yet to read the DP chapter. I stopped at the end of Emerald (I'm waiting for Pt to end before I start DP). Hence, I really don't know. I'll talk to CP about it. Basically, what you have to ask yourself when you think of a Pokémon's notability is this: did it have actual character developement? Did it have a major impact on the plot? Can you write a full article about it that's more than two short paragraphs long? If all you can write about it can fit into one {{trainerpkmn}} table on Diamond's page without missing any info, there's no real point in having a page about it... --electAbuzzzz 17:45, 22 October 2009 (UTC)

Krabby, Sandshrew and Diglett

Their names never appeared in English version, at least. So I'd rather leave them unnamed, for safety. I'm not sure what to do with Espeon. It's more notable, so maybe we should leave the name "Vui" there alone. --Maxim 13:05, 23 October 2009 (UTC)

White spaces

Can you explain to me what they are? --Hmdwgf 15:22, 29 October 2009 (UTC)

I'm not sure what exactly you mean, but basically when we say white spaces we mean just that - areas in the page that are blank; wasted white space. They can sometimes be created when, for example, there's a long infobox on the right, and you want to put a wide table on the left, and then the table is pushed below the infobox. Stuff like that. Does that answer your question? --electAbuzzzz 15:29, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
I think so... A user once told me that white spaces are usually not OK, so I tried to fix the problem by getting rid of the vacant space, and no one was satisfied. --Hmdwgf 15:52, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
We try to avoid them when possible, but not if it means hurting the article's style in any way. --electAbuzzzz 16:33, 29 October 2009 (UTC)

Typhlosion Templates

I don't know why but all of the templates for typhlosion (like under a trainer) are a lot bigger than they should be, and it's not just a one time error since it is on my page, red's (game) page, and a few other user's page. What's up? BrokenMotor 04:58, 8 November 2009 (UTC)

It appears that the problem is due to the sprite, which seems to have a lot of blank transparent space around the actual sprite, although at least some of it may be due to the animation. I don't know how to edit anipngs, but that one was uploaded over Darkeiya's static sprite, which appears to be the right size. In the meantime, do we want the static sprite or the emptyspace sprite? Werdnae (talk) 05:18, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
Well, I fixed it for now by reverting to Darkeiya's version, since I don't know how to crop animation. Someone will have to create a correctly-sized version. --electAbuzzzz 12:21, 8 November 2009 (UTC)

So you're saying...

Silver is the same as Silver... also... you're saying Red is the same as Red... which means that there should be a section for Pika and the Pikachu in Mt. Silver... but there already is in a separate article... while we're at it, we can also add movesets for Ash's Snorlax because it appeared in the games... however, we're not to mix them together... ht14 03:50, 9 November 2009 (UTC)

No, I'm not saying they're the same. But you'll have to agree all Adventures characters are based on their game counterparts, and Silver's Sneasel in the manga is a direct reference to Silver's Sneasel in the game, which actually has some backstory. Ash's Pikachu has a section mentioning its game counterpart. Pika has a section mentioning its game counterpart. So should Silver's Sneasel. --electAbuzzzz 10:17, 9 November 2009 (UTC)
No, I don't think it should be so... besides, Yellow and Emerald don't have counterparts, and neither does Green if you think about it... Ash's Lapras... Red's Venusaur... Pearl's Infernape... I'm just not liking it... they're not the same name... I see your POV, but I don't think it works that way... ht14 23:03, 9 November 2009 (UTC)
The examples you brought up are different. Pearl does not always have an Infernape in the games. Red's teams are entirely different, he has all starters in the game. Silver's Sneasel in the game is the only one of his Pokémon to have some sort of a backstory, and they referenced it in the manga by making it his starter there. It's just mentioned in the article. The article does not claim Silver and Silver are the same guy. It says one is based on the other, and so are their Sneasel. --electAbuzzzz 09:14, 10 November 2009 (UTC)
If you say so... ht14 22:03, 10 November 2009 (UTC)

Typhlosion's animated sprites

Do not take that personally but whenever I saw this page [1], I was thinking that it was a necessity to update static sprites to animated ones, but I could have misunderstood and, well, if the policy says to keep the sprites at 80x80 until it says otherwise I will not upload the ones like Typhlosion until the policy changes, but you have to know that it is not my fault if Game Freak decided to make Typhlosion jump that high and for that it's nearly impossible to make Typhlosion's HGSS animation less than 107 pixels height (the minimum possible is 105, so...). I just wanted to clarify that point and I hope you can understand my point. --Flare drive 11:04, 9 November 2009 (UTC)

Sorries and a request: E4 member in EP001?

I noted your irritation for my template edits. Yes, sorry, I didn't note those "note" parts and didn't give that much attention for templates' shapes. Sorry for one more time.
And now to the main thing why I wrote to you. You know that shadowy figured trainer from the very first episode? Some fans have indicated it to be Bruno of the Elite Four, but for me an unknown time ago the information of this possible appearance has been taken away from Bulbapedia (I guess you already knew about this). I know that the figure's identity cannot maybe bee confirmed with 100% probability, but at least for me it looks like Bruno's shape (<-- please see the picture).
So now, I'd like to know have you administrators already decided to say that it cannot be confirmed to be Bruno or haven't you made your decision yet. If not, I would like you to be please and talk about this with other administrators if needed. If you have already decided your opinion, please let me know.
The reason why I want to know about this for sure is that that shadowy trainer and possible Bruno in EP001 used a Nidorino and an Onix, which I would like to add Bruno's anime Pokémon list if it's true that it really was him. And remember, even thought Bruno caught a new Onix later, he caught it because of its exceptionally big size. And it don't matter if he has two Pokémon from the same species, even Lance has (sorry if I annoyed you by talking about something that you already knew).
So, please make your decision about this and let me know a.s.a.p. when it's ready. I'll be waiting. And I'll be more careful with those templates. I promise. :) --FinnishPokéFan92 16:52, 14 November 2009 (UTC)

About the templates: it's fine, I'm not angry and I didn't even bother checking who the user who did it was, but just pay attention to that in the future.
Regarding Bruno: I do remember what you're talking about. Yes, it looks a lot like Bruno, and it is very much possible that the writers were indeed refering to him. However, no, we can't say that it's him and present it as a confirmed fact. A trivia point in EP001 and maybe on Bruno's page mentioning the appearance of a figure shaped like Bruno? Sure, wynaut. Listing Nidorino and Onix as his? No, I don't think so. I'll run it by the others later, but I think they'll think the same as I do on the subject. --electAbuzzzz 17:03, 14 November 2009 (UTC)
Thank you. I see if I'll find some time to do that Trivia thing. --FinnishPokéFan92 17:05, 14 November 2009 (UTC)

No explanation?

OK! Yes you're mean... you needed to be said that! And you deleted the talk of the page I liked a lot! and I haven't hear a word from you, I'm not saying you have to tell me everything you do before doing it. But I said something in that talkpage and instead of replying (and maybe just saying "Shup up!" [though not really]) you just deleted it, with no.. with no nothing! Why's that?! Forget it, I guess you're not going to reply me either this time. YukitoOoO 19:04, 15 November 2009 (UTC)

I was going to reply on your talk page, I just didn't get to it yet. I deleted the talk page because talk pages of deleted articles are supposed to get deleted, the fact that the page was still there was an error. Don't take this the wrong way, but I couldn't really care less what pages you like. Majority voted we delete that page (we voted on AIM, and nobody said anything on the talk page). It happened ages ago, I don't see why you're just bringing it up now. The page was pointless and not needed. If you really want, I can put its deleted content in your userspace, but it's not mainspace material. --electAbuzzzz 19:09, 15 November 2009 (UTC)
I understad, I reacted like that because I think I would have replyed you first, before deleting the talk page, and when I realized it was just gone!! Anyway... I guess I don't really need the content (I mean I loved it but... I'm not going to ask you for it... am I?) What if you send it to my email? :P :D I'd really appreciate that if you do! Thanks! Potentially somewhat-kinda-explicit in-lyric citation

Hey. Meebo isn't showing you as online, so I'll just ask you here...

I'm working on the translation for Winter Vacation Fan Club (almost done - literally only one line left!), but I've come across a bit of an issue and I'm not sure what the best choice would be.

The song makes a reference to a card game called "Doubt," the equivalent of which is known as "BS," "Bluff," etc. in the US (and other western countries? idk I'm just an ignorant American after all). I like to usually link to the appropriate Wikipedia articles in cases like this, but... the article over on Wikipedia is titled Bullshit - indeed, a legitimate name of the game, but since I know we have young kids visiting this here 'pedia, I'm reluctant to link to an article with such a title.

Any opinion on what I should do? Should I simply not supply a Wikipedia link, or should I link to the Japanese Wikipedia article, or... what? :/ 梅子 16:17, 16 November 2009 (UTC)

Hmmm... Good question. It kinda makes me sad that this sort of things have to even be an issue, but I know how you Americans get over these silly things ;p. Personally, I don't think it's that much of a big deal to link to that article - as long as you use a different word in the link. If someone will disagree, we'll remove it... --electAbuzzzz 16:22, 16 November 2009 (UTC)
Sounds good. Now to decide which word to use in the link... (I was thinking "BS," since that's the word I used in the game as a kid and I had no idea what it meant at the time, but God, people can be so touchy...) 梅子 16:25, 16 November 2009 (UTC)
