Flamethrower and Thunderbolt learnt by breeding in Gen III

Hello, as I was playing Emerald, I managed to breed a male Camerupt with Flamethrower with a Torchic and a Rhyhorn, and they both inherited it. Also, as I was breeding two Pikachu with the intention of getting a Pichu with Volt Tackle, the offspring inherited Thunderbolt since both parents had learnt it beforehand. Side-note: I was not expecting both things to happen, since in the first case I was trying to chain breed for Rock Slide and in the second case for Volt Tackle only.
