Welcome

Welcome to Bulbapedia, Corgidude!

Here are a few links to help you get started:

The Manual of Style, or MoS, outlines the format of all pages on Bulbapedia.

Our friendly team of staff are here to help! Talk to them if you have any questions or problems with Bulbapedia.

On talk pages, please sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~), or by using the "Your signature with a timestamp" (button_sig.png) button at the top of the edit window.

On Bulbapedia, the ability to edit personal userpages is a privilege. Per our userpage policy, this must be earned by first making constructive edits to the mainspace. Once you can, remember to keep userspace edits (edits to User:Corgidude) to a minimum.

For a complete list of policies and editing advice, please see the Welcome Portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Editing

When you are editing, please remember that Pokémon and locations are proper nouns and must always be capitalised. The word Pokémon is also a proper noun and must be spelt with a capital P and an e-acute (é) which can be entered from the character palette below the editing pane. Once you have finished your edit, please use the preview button to check that the article is how you want it before you save the page. Thanks for helping to improve Bulbapedia. Please use the preview button, it's right next to the save button. Also, templates from the Archives will not work on Bulbapedia, please stop adding them. Jellotalk 23:23, 29 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Test edits

I'm not exactly sure what you were trying to achieve with this, this, and this, but whatever it was, please don't use the mainspace for it. Use a sandbox, or better yet, the preview button, to make this kind of edit.

Additionally, use link templates. {{p|Pichu}}, not [[Pichu]]. This is to prevent links to redirects and disambiguation pages.

Finally, use the preview button. Making multiple edits in a row in a short space of time clutters the recent changes, which is bad.

Happy editing!--Cold (talk) 23:36, 29 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
