List of game characters

Hi, welcome to Bulbapedia!
For the core games generations I to V, the in-game sprites are used. There is a long precedent for this. There are some quality artworks for some of the characters in these generations, but not for all, and I believe this is one of the reasons for not using the Sugimori-style artwork here. Personally, I like the consistent use of the in-game sprites, but if you feel strongly otherwise you could explain your reasoning on the List of game characters talk page.
Please don't change any of the links on the List of game characters page in the meantime, as it is not good to continually revert others without using talk pages and coming to an agreement. --Thespeon196 (talk) 00:07, 25 July 2024 (UTC)
