Murkrow first appeared in Pikachu & Pichu, along with some its friends. Later a single Murkrow noticed Pikachu attempting to cling onto a rope as he hung between two buildings. Instead of assisting, Murkrow loosened the rope tie at one end, though a few passing Hoppip helped Pikachu to safety.

In Trouble in Big Town, Pichu Little was sent flying off into the distance after stealing some balloons from a park vendor. The mischievous Murkrow made things only more difficult, when it began popping all the balloons. Luckily Wooper used Water Gun in time, making for a softer landing.

Murkrow and its friends made a small cameo alongside the other Big Town Pokémon at the beginning of Giratina and the Sky Warrior.

Personality and characteristics

Murkrow, one in particular, is a troublemaker and feared across Big Town. It has a menacing stare and gets a thrill out of putting others into harm's way.

Smeargle was among the many Pokémon that were shown playing at the Pokémon Clubhouse in Pikachu & Pichu. It later lent a hand after the Clubhouse began to collapse because of Houndour's actions.

In Pichu Bros. in Party Panic, Smeargle was playing with its friend Aipom at the park amphitheatre when the Pichu Posse arrived demanding to know what the strange crescent-shaped cards everyone has. Using Smeargle's tail, Aipom painted a picture of fruit and a clock tower, directing the Posse over to the location of Meowth's upcoming party.

It reappeared in Big Meowth, Little Dreams (Part 1), while Meowth and the Pichu Posse where looking for a sandwich thief. Pichu Big has Smeargle splash the paint on its tail everywhere, which revealed the invisible culprit to be a Kecleon.

Smeargle made a small cameo alongside the other Big Town Pokémon at the beginning of Giratina and the Sky Warrior.

Personality and characteristics

Smeargle is cheery and playful, often spending its days painting walls across Big Town with bright colors.

Houndour debuted in Pikachu & Pichu, where it chased after Ash's Pikachu and the Pichu Brothers after they landed on its back. In its rage it ran directly into the Pokémon Clubhouse, which caused the junk-constructed playground to begin collapsing. Houndour lent its strength to help save the Clubhouse from toppling completely.

Houndour reappeared in Of Meowth and Pokémon (Part 2), but it stopped pursuing the Posse after being burned to a crisp by Magby.

Houndour's sleep was interrupted in Trouble in Big Town, when yellow paint was accidentally spilled on it by the Pichu Posse. It chased them down to the river, and its momentum lead everyone to take a dive. A Feraligatr came to their rescue, but Houndour was tossed directly into Snorlax’s path, where it was squashed under its weight.

In Pichu Bros. in Party Panic, the Pichu Brothers jumped on Houndour’s head while chasing after a flyaway invitation. Houndour quickly gave chase, even seeing through the Brother’s makeshift Piloswine disguise. It bided its time as the Pichu fled into a building before the chase resumed. It ended when Houndour was sent blasting off by a broken water hydrant and then flattened by a Snorlax.

Houndour made a small cameo alongside the other Big Town Pokémon at the beginning of Giratina and the Sky Warrior.

Personality and characteristics

Houndour is a constant source of trouble for the Pichu Brothers and their friends. A running gag involves the Houndour getting hurt in some sort of way, usually being flattened by a local Snorlax. It is a cunning Pokémon, but very prone to rage.

In Of Meowth and Pokémon (Part 2), Snorlax rolled onto Teddiursa as it was about to tuck into some pizza it was supposed to deliver. It appeared in Trouble in Big Town and again in Pichu Bros. in Party Panic, where it accidentally squashed Houndour who was again pursuing the Pichu Brothers and their friends.

Snorlax made a small cameo alongside the other Big Town Pokémon at the beginning of Giratina and the Sky Warrior.

Azumarill first appeared in Trouble in Big Town. It was making flower chains in a local park when it spotted Pichu Little and Wooper rolling towards heavy traffic, so it used a Water Gun to propel them across the busy road. It later pointed Pichu Big and the others to Pichu Little's location.

Later Magby called Azumarill into to deal with the Pichu Brothers fighting again. However it was accidentally electrocuted, causing Azumarill to use Water Gun in rage. Smoochum and Magby used their Icy Wind and Flamethrower attacks to combat the Water attacks, creating a complex of icy slides. The Pokémon but aside their differences to then play on the slides together.

Azumarill briefly appeared in Of Meowth and Pokémon (Part 1), where it invited the Pichu Posse to enjoy some acorns. It became cross after the Posse became impatient and knocked all the nuts onto the busy road.

In Big Meowth, Little Dreams (Part 1), Azumarill was busy preparing a picnic for its visiting friend Azurill. Meowth accidentally destroyed Azumarill’s setting while hunting a sandwich thieving Kecleon. Afterwards, Azumarill invited everyone, including Meowth to enjoy Azurill’s welcome party.

During Big Meowth, Little Dreams (Part 2), Azumarill was again preparing a picnic lunch for Azurill. It remained behind while the Pichu Posse tried to re-locate Azurill, who wandered off.

In Pichu Bros. in Party Panic, Meowth was going to throw a party. However, the Pichu Brothers and their friends had not received an invitation and so they went on a quest to find one. In the end, an Azumarill had their invitations all along and hadn't gotten around to delivering them yet. However, they flew away, which led to another adventure to track them down.

Azumarill made a small cameo alongside the other Big Town Pokémon at the beginning of Giratina and the Sky Warrior.

Personality and characteristics

Azumarill is kind and generous, often preparing picnics for friends. However, when angered, Azumarill will attack with a barrage of Water Guns. It spends much of its time amongst the flowers of a Big Town park.

Azurill was due to arrive in Big Town in Big Meowth, Little Dreams (Part 1), to visit its friend Azumarill. It was later revealed that a friendly Kecleon saw Azurill, and took it to a drain pipe to get it out of the rain. With Azurill found, Azumarill invited everyone to enjoy Azurill's welcome party.

During Big Meowth, Little Dreams (Part 2), Azurill wandered off as Azumarill was preparing a picnic lunch. While the Pichu Posse searched Big Town for it, Azurill was interrupting Meowth's attempts to woo a Skitty by stealing his rose bouquet, cake and ruining his guitar serenade. Meowth's yelling lead the Pichu Brothers and their friend to find Azurill down an alleyway, and rescue it in time.

Personality and characteristics

Azurill is a cheery and innocent Pokémon, though it puts itself at risk because of its wild curiosity and tendency to wander off.
