The following is a list of all of the German language home video releases of the first season of the Pokémon anime, Indigo League, in Germany. DVD releases are for DVD Region 2, Blu-ray releases are for Blu-ray Region B, and all releases are PAL.
In Region 2 releases, the episodes are ordered and separated according to standard seasons (in the same way as on Pokémon.com), rather than by Viz Media season (as seen in Region 1 releases).
Single releases
Indigo League VHS and DVD releases were initially distributed by Warner Bros. They are similar to that of the Region 1 releases in format. Only the first 36 dubbed episodes of Indigo League were released this way, all with German audio only, and no closed captioning.
"Die Welt der Pokèmon" releases
The entirety of the dubbed Indigo League episodes were released through Hachette Collections' "De Welt der Pokémon" magazine. As before, these DVDs include three episodes per disc, only include German audio, and have no closed captioning.
The Complete Season
Pokémon: Indigo League Staffel 1 was released by Studio Hamburg Enterprises on September 30, 2016. The set contains six DVDs with 52 episodes across them combined, with German and English audio, but no closed captioning. It's catalogue number is 67343.
The disc's artwork is styled after a Poké Ball, with artwork of a specific Pokémon on the disc itself. The content is similarwise to the Australian boxset.
The set was re-released on April 4, 2019, under a different catalogue number: 97149. Elsewise, the content is the same as the 2016 version.
