Proposal: A new color template that can be used to identify trainers with Shadow Pokémon in their party. Primarily for Pokémon Colosseum and Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness, though potentially useful for Pokémon GO as well. The Colosseum Walkthrough has been using {{shadow color}} to identify trainers with Shadow Pokémon. Shadow redirects to the XD color, so when doing the same with the XD walkthrough, its impossible to differentiate between a normal trainer and one with a Shadow Pokémon. Introducing a standalone shadow color will fix this issue.
Colors
- Shadow Color Light: 9180D9
- Shadow Color: 4A2E88
- Shadow Color Dark: 181224
Currently Colosseum and XD only have two main colors to choose from: Their box art color and the Orre region color.
This is how the original colors look with the shadow template applied in the same format as trainer cards marked as having a Shadow Pokémon.
And lastly, here is an XD color trainer card next to the proposed shadow color trainer card.
Notes
According to 4iamking, there is a formula that dictates the light and dark color from the midtone. The below trainer card is with the formulated light and dark tones. This isn't distinctive enough (in my opinion). I am awaiting a response from 4iamking so I can attempt to find a better color.
