Eevee's Gender

Was Virgil's Eevee's gender actually confirmed to be female? Or is it just a hunch because of the PWT screenshot? (talk) 16:50, 22 November 2012 (UTC)

He explicitly stated it in his debut. Ataro (talk) 16:57, 22 November 2012 (UTC)
It was also stated by Virgil that Eevee was the only female among Team Eevee. Gohan5 (talk) 09:17, 3 February 2013 (UTC)

How do we know that all of his other Eeveelutions are male? --Togekiss4ever (talk) 13:01, 9 November 2013 (UTC)

I don't recall the exact situation, but looking at edit summaries in the History tab suggests that at some point, Virgil referred to the unevolved Eevee as the "only female", which would by definition mean the others are male. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 16:46, 9 November 2013 (UTC)

Possible forshadowing of Sylveon

Is it possible that Virgil running Team Eevee could be a possible forshadow of the revelation of the newest Eeveelution Sylveon? --PKMNAdventurer (talk) 20:24, 14 February 2013 (UTC)

It is possible, but since it is just speculation, it cannot be added.--Den Zen 20:28, 14 February 2013 (UTC)

Shouldn't Eevee get a page of its own? It's been in every episode that Virgil has appeared in. Also she is commonly shown to be on his shoulder similar to Ash's Pikachu --~Pikalup~ (talk) 19:23, 15 May 2013 (UTC)

Going by that logic, Georgia's Beartic should also get a page. Virgil's Eevee really isn't that notable for it's own page, especially considering Virgil was just put in the show to ride the wave of Eevee-related hype and help sell the Eevee merchandise which has been so prominent this year. --Reliジーランス? 16:36, 9 July 2013 (UTC)

Please don't commandeer discussions with your personal vendettas, Relicant. It's for an admin to decide, but probably, neither Pokémon is notable enough for its own page. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 18:07, 9 July 2013 (UTC)

Being a Rival

Why is Virgil considered a rival? He only showed up the episode before the league and was only there to be a character competing in the Vertress Conference. Plus him and Ash never even had a battle so why should he be considered one? Chy-i (talk) 03:31, 12 January 2014 (UTC)

At the end of the episode Virgil debuted in, Ash stated that they were going to be rivals in the tournament so he technically counts as becoming a rival. PattyMan 03:35, 12 January 2014 (UTC)

Virgil is Ash´s only rival to win a league without battling Ash.--Robin Maximo (talk) 03:04, 6 October 2016 (UTC)

It's kinda implied in the trivia of him never battling Ash i'm afraid Azure/ChromeVoid42 (talk) 09:51, 6 October 2016 (UTC)

More than implied, it´s said, but i thought notable include the league factor in it, since he is the only one.--Robin Maximo (talk) 20:15, 6 October 2016 (UTC)
