Team Rocket

1 byte added, 22:46, 27 October 2019
* Team Rocket is the only main series villainous team to not have anything to do with their respective games' version mascots. In the same way, they are the only villainous team that has yet to try and use a Legendary Pokémon to achieve their goals in the games.
** In the anime, however, Team Rocket has tried to obtain the most Legendary Pokémon for their own uses (by Jessie and James) out of any other villainous team.
** In Pokémon Adventures manga, they did have in their plans (and eventually succeeded) catching {{p|Articuno}}, {{p|Zapdos}}, and {{p|Moltres}}, but were then released; {{p|Mew}} to create {{p|Mewtwo}}; in the {{chap|Gold, Silver & Crystal}}, their missions included catching {{p|Ho-Oh}}, {{p|Lugia}}, and {{p|Celebi}}; in the {{chap|FireRed & LeafGreen}}, their mission was to capture {{p|Deoxys}}; in the {{chap|HeartGold & SoulSilver}}, their mission was to capture {{p|Arceus}} and create {{p|Dialga}}, {{p|Palkia}}, and {{p|Giratina}}.
* Both Jessie and James have befriended or owned a Pokémon whose species are known to frequently work for the good of common people, a [[Nurse Joy's Blissey|Chansey]] and a [[Growlie|Growlithe]] respectively, with Chansey being known to work as nurses and Growlithe (along with Arcanine) being often used as police dogs. This is unusual, considering Team Rocket's association with crime and illegal activities.
* Team Rocket is one of only two villainous teams to have explicitly caused a death, that of {{OBP|Marowak|ghost|the Marowak in Pokémon Tower}}. The other is Team Galactic, whom a Trainer, Roughneck Kirby, blamed for the deaths of most of his Pokémon.
