Hello! I was just wondering... wouldn't it make more sense if we had the Japanese words シアン ''shian'' and マゼンタ ''mazenta'' as their name origin rather than English cyan and magenta? (Since their names aren't ''Zasaian'' or ''Zamajenta'' in Japanese, and even the English versions of the names use the Japanese words.) - [[User:Paramitsu|Paramitsu]] ([[User talk:Paramitsu|talk]]) 00:25, 6 June 2019 (UTC)

:If 'shian' and 'mazenta' are 'cyan' and magenta', then no. That's like saying Iris' name originates from アイリス ''airisu''. If it's just a romanization of an English word, we use the English word.
